Hypothetical scenario now... SISU bought the Ricoh and charge CCFC £1.3m p.a. rent! Would that be ok in everybodies mind? If not How the fuck do CCFC go on rent strike..... Take your time guys, I've got all night!

With the crowds getting smaller surely we will get further away from break even and there isn't much to sell now player wise.

but sisu would then have access to all of the associated benefits of the stadium, it wouldn't make sense to hamstring the club as the bigger attendances would be worth far more them in terms of F&B, car parking, hospitality etc.

In theory yes, but I dont believe our wage bill at the minute is anywhere near the lowest in the league and we're punching well below our weight at the minute. A lot of that is down to poor recruitment and poor tactics.

It all depends on how low the crowds go. Like I said earlier thr majority of league one and two clubs have attendance's less of 5k, and a significant portion less than 4k and 3k. Sisu could still run a club on those kinds of attendance's.

They couldn't run a club with ten times those figures they are clueless, if/when we go down I would expect a few redundancies behind the scenes which is a shame for some but good riddance to others

Sisu will just keep falling further and further behind also whilst the club falls so does sisu and their investment in us. Basically I'm saying it hurts everyone. It's in everyone's interest for ccfc to be successful.
It's just what I said before. If you cut the budget then you get shitter players which means you will lose more games which means less fans turn up which then sisu will cut the budget again which means shitter players and lose more games.
To break this cycle you have to invest and pump some money in. So whilst break even is commendable it's also not particularly realistic.

The problem is Nick, they spunked their own money wasting it and mis managing a football club. That's not our fault.
Point 2 they aren't putting any more money in. It's over. League 2 is inevitable. If it isn't this season it's next. Until it happens.

Thats how I feel. I also think someone would prefer to take us over at breakeven then be able to invest and add value to the squad straight away, instead of having to stump up £6-7m to fund losses and keep the status quo before being able to strengthen.
If people expect £m's invested they won't like fan ownership much.

No I would prefer it if they accepted that the club itself will only produce loses for them under the current plan. That the legal action can carry on without owning the club and they walk away.

To date I've only seen an injection of £600K in black and white, although one esteemed poster on here who has happened to hold a different view of things on here believes it was £1m
I'm not going to trawl for accuracy but the loss must be akin to £4m +
When the owner makes that kind of pledge I expect them to honour it
Not use Club generated income (Wilson transfer fee) to offset it.

These owners have said they are at break even or nearly at it for years, Orange Ken told us we were there and what a wonderful job he had done so we, could start to invest next season LOL, then Waggot said we would break even at gates of 11,000 then said oh sorry 15,000 when we reach 11,000 gates
