Just trying to keep in with everyone else. Deflection is the name of the game on here. Do keep up.

Besides for some balance it's always worth pointing out the telegraph aren't the only ones bending the truth.

I don't disagree. At a time when we the fans needed a strong local press, the whole lot have been appalling.

Simon wrote a book and he wants to sell it and the CT has to try and make up news 6 days a week. SISU have made themselves an easy target.
No one makes Nick buy or read the CT.

Les Reid gets an easy ride on here.

Against Trump, its very clear over here and nobody gives a shit, even the debates he was interrupted 52 times to Clinton's 14 in the first, the second debate he was side tracked all the way so main stream issue never came up, interrupted so much it became 3 against 1. And just the general balance of the stories out there are very Clinton friendly. I bet some stuff is not reported in UK just Sun reporting Trump is a Nazi, but its sell papers so i understand it.

Just feel sorry for those that believe they live in a democracy when in reality non of us do.

But then no one makes you read Les Reads articles, like no one makes Nick read the Telegraph.

They both bullshit. Personally I expect better.

But to get some balance, thank goodness he isn't prolific like you are with the Wasps PR (Bullshit)
You'll need to show me where I actively push Wasps.
It's confusing as it keeps deflecting the arguments away from Sisu.
Can't see why this board can't actively push getting these idiots out instead of slagging off fellow fans who are trying to get something started.
I suppose its picking the easy targets is a bit of a cop out.

I don't think its an easy target though, its clearly spin.

We hate SISU's spin, we hate Les Reids, so surely the same for Simon Gilbert? Why should he get off with no criticism when he is bulling on a SISU level.

He is a journalist, so I would like to believe he can get his facts right. Sadly these days though its nothing to do with that.

We have owners who are driving our club into the ground. Why is it that some people seem to delight in attacking the CT who have actually started to do something after 9 years rather than the real culprits for our misery. Whatever the CT do it can never be as bad as the long list of bad decisions that have crippled CCFC. The telegraph for some are much more of a target than Sisu.

Stretching the truth to wear down Sisu and getting more fans on the Telegraph case is okay with me.
Could do without people putting Sisu's side all the time.
We need to work anyway we can to get rid of these idiots.
If it's stretching the truth lets run with it.
Great work though by Nick though should save Sisu time and money.

Sorry but the Telegraph are not more of a target to some than SISU. Its just that people expect better, not to read pages of bullshit all the time.
Les Read rightfully gets ripped to shreds when he spins, so why not Gilbert? I would say that to some on this site the Telegraph and Gilbert can do no wrong.
They are all bullshitting bastards, and the club needs new owners, a new council, no City of Rugby, No Wasps and a whole new set of decent journalists on decent local papers.

I blame the fans.

At Port Vale we sang "and were Coventry city, Coventry city fc, were by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen"

most of those were at Arsenal and we lost heavily. Surely arsenal are better ?

Telegraph is a local rag. Very few readers and they need to drum up income.

I expect a story tomorrow about "5 reasons to fly over to Coventry and go to a protest, despite going to the game before the protest"

Damn right. We've had two new year's (it will be three soon) and we still haven't had Tim's exciting new stadium announcement in the new year. That's gone way past taking the piss. Glad you agree.

What do you think to the article Tony?

Uh, really? I always prided ourselves on not singing that shite.

Sorry bullshit is bullshit.

He is giving SISU a reason to further distance themselves from the local press, so we will have no clue what is going on, apart from Gilberts ramblings with no substance. SISU will become more entrenched against that muppet.
Personally I want to know what's going on, as it might give us more of an idea of how to get rid of them, but if you just want Gilbert to call names then carry on lapping it up.

Then push Sisu for some answers. They won't talk to CWR and they have banned the Telegraph.
On here any rumblings against Sisu are continually challenged and individuals ridiculed.
As I said, easy targets.

Ok so how do I push SISU for some answers?

I can imagine the call,

CCFC- 'Hello CCFC'
Moff - 'Yes its Moff, I want to speak to SISU now and want to know why they wont sell the club and leave?'
CCFC 'Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'
Moff 'Hello.. hello.. hello'

The phone line has gone dead, and Moff stamps his feet indignantly, but at least he has pushed SISU for some answers, which unbelievably they didn't give.

I know that is a joke, but seriously if the local press cant get the answers, don't kid yourself that we can.

Shock, horror, a media outlet spin's a story to get people buying his paper or clicking on a web page.. That is his job, even if you don't like him as a person its what he does, i wonder how many have actually met the lad. He is a salesmen with a pen and an outlet and as posted before probably has no real agenda other than playing to the crowd.

As for the USA connection, FFS if you think Simon can spin you want to live over here, in my life i have never seen an election run or supported by the media for one candidate so ferociously. Live in the land of the free or a democracy my arsehole, none of us do.

Who is Hannity rooting for? Bill O'Reilly?

Some seem to take delight in the opportunity to attack the CT. The people owning and running our club are the ones who are the cause of the problems we have. Why don't those attacking the telegraph have the same enthusiasm for having a go at Sisu. Don't mean you as I know you have said plenty about Tim and Co.

Wasps only are having an easy ride due to SISU letting them have one. JS has tunnel vision on legal action which is at the moment playing right into Wasps hands.

while I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that I do wonder why wasps position on negotiating changed from we're not involved in the legals it won't stop us talking to we can't negotiate why the legals are on-going.
It's almost as if a third party was pulling their strings!

I think that may have been mentioned before on here once or twice.

And as I said before countless times, ditch JR2, let them(SISU) piss in the wind with JR1, it has nothing to do with Wasps and then ask to sit down and talk. If they refuse then the tables would start to turn, give them nowhere to hide.

Is it attacking the CT to point out they are making things up to push an agenda and people believe it? It isn't spin, it is things that aren't true.

Still, as long as they say SISUOUT all the time and piss themselves at the fans while they lead them along it's all ok!

Do you know that they 'piss themselves at the fans' or did you just make that up?
