headline at 12 ?

"CCFC bins will only be emptied every 2 weeks, the longest wait for bin emptying in League One"

I'd struggle with the bins once every two weeks.
I moved to Wyken just over a year ago and the street hasn't been cleaned once.
When I lived in Finham, Stivichall and Earlsdon it was every couple of weeks. Whether this is down to cuts or neglecting dodgy areas I don't know.

We have had 5 years of once a fortnight bins empty. It really isn't that bad once you get used to it. I remember thinking the same and ironically now, I reckon we could do once a month. As a nation, we are shocking at waste disposal

I've got a 15 month old. The bin would be absolutely rammed with nappies after two weeks! I'd have been able to do it easily before though.

What about my niece!!!

She (the numpty) still breastfeeds her son, he still has his dummy and he still wears nappies.

He's 3 1/2!

Simon Gilbert tweeted to check the cov telegraph after midnight going to affect a lot of people???

Maybe he is leaving and the whole twenty five people who still take the Telegraph seriously will get a better quality of journalist to replace him? ;)

That is so misleading purely to generate clicks. They can crack on and do that but at least admit that's what they do. A friend of mine emailed them directly in regards to clickbait titles on social media and they straight up denied doing it stating that they don't do it because they know people don't like it.

Be easier if they just said "We need to eat as well you know".

Still, Tony and Dongo will tell you it isn't happening and you are making conspiracies up.

My mate works in media and doesn't even support Cov, so his complaint wasn't even ccfc related.

"Agree to disagree" was the basic premise of the response.

Just to add, it isn't just the Telegraph. :) They just seem to think everybody is stupid though.

I got done the other day for one of those "top 10 footballers who are on drugs" type things where you have to press next every time. Didn't even find out who was on drugs after all of it, I was well annoyed.

Yeah, it's anyone and everyone doing it and it works. This just annoys me more as it's local news and not how they did it before.

It's all online now, people at the Telegraph are no different to people copying and pasting shite onto the Lad Bible and places all day. Like you say though, they just don't say that it pays the bills and think people won't notice.

I don't like the CT either and it's easy to get drawn into their 'click bait' type gimmicks on a slow day. The Hinckley Times and Leicester Mercury sites are just the same { same owners I think }. I don't think they are quite as bias as what they are accused of though, they are just trying to attract and keep people on there which I sometimes think Nick does on here to provoke debate.

If somebody posts something with a misleading Title it gets edited as soon as possible...

Click for Nicks reaction

I did try to keep it safe for work. Don't want people kicking off when they get sent to one of those adult sites where it locks the keyboard and mouse and shouts funny stuff through the speakers.

I'm just going to say it and expect a bit of abuse for it.

Their petition for Sisu to leave was also for clicks more than anything else.*

*i still signed it though
