"there's a huge amount of uncertainty around the club at the moment and that's very distressing to Coventry city fans at the moment"

Well, unless you're Nick then Telegraph spin is the priority ;)

Would be a bit silly to write a book and then not tell anyone you've written a book TBF

Be even nicer to see the local paper promote the tifosy campaign which raises money for those less fortunate as opposed to a guy raising funds for himself.

More pressure the better. I agree with the above comment, they know their time here is ending it's just what route they take. There are a few options I guess but they will do the one that works for them not ccfc.

Of course they would hate all this publicity and keep it up. They are being forced out anyway by everyone else. No deal at the Ricoh and no academy deal. It's game over as it stands. Whats happening now is the last few moves being played IMO. They have 18 months to go or obviously shorter.

The lack of talk, lack of manager, lack of players in. Lack of investment. Lack of press releases. Website lagging behind. It all points to shutting up shop to me.

Exactly and the more we are mentioned on TV, radio, newspapers etc the harder it
Will be for them to just pull the plug and skulk off into the night.
I tell you what people can say what they like about Gilbert and his book, but there's
No denying it has given us fresh exposure and momentum. IMHO

"The troubles at CCFC made the headlines on the BeIn sports channel, the sports arm of Al Jazeera which is received in the Middle East, Asia, Australia and the United States".

Let’s be honest, Simon's hardly going to sell his book in these parts of the world is he?

I think this is a bit of PR, probably orchestrated by Keyes, to give a bit of a dig at SISU and maybe even prick the ears of some people with more money than sense, who are jelous off at all their mates investing in English football clubs.

Not really spin, it's promoting a book.

We all know what keys is like, he will shout his mouth off for a bit then go quiet and say he knows everything.

Him and Gray should put some cash in ;)

Surprised Simon didn't ask Richard how his wife and family are!

Having our plight raised is always a good thing, but realistically asking Keys and Gray to comment on the morals of football is like asking Sports Direct to be the keynote speaker at an Investors in People event.

This absolutely is bad news for Sidu with the negativity of their name.

Sisu's portfolio of investments are not the healthiest right now and the Coventry saga has huge reputational implications for them. Investors don't trust Sisu with their money.

The end is coming.

Sadly I think unless they get a decent offer or win the JR sisu will still be here in 4-5 years time. A solution for the academy will be found and when it comes to the crunch wasps will agree another short term deal at the Ricoh.

You see whilst I agree that raising our profile in terms of what is going on, its vital, every time that SISU & Fisher have been quiet in the past it has meant that something is going on that they don't want focussed on ........................... I would like to think that's a hopeful thing but the silence makes me concerned instead

ccfc is my priority surprisingly enough.

Doesn't seem to be Tony's. He and Captain Dart seem obsessed with making tired jokes about you and Telegraph spin. Perhaps they should focus on CCFC instead. ;)

I wouldn't imagine that Sepalla and her pals will be delighted at having their good name dragged through the mud in those countries. Want to say some horrible things about her but can't be bothered.
