Can we just rejoice in pictures of our finest hour ? no arguments pleaseeeeeeee
I was born in 1991 so wasn't even around for thatThose poor bastards who were too young to remember this.
These even poorer bastards who are only old enough to remember anything post 1999/00 season.
On the other hand they have their years ahead of them, I was 18 in 87 and my brother was 21,Those poor bastards who were too young to remember this.

I take no pleasure in this
Sutton 0 - Cheltenham 1
Yes ! it's the same Sutton that lost the next round 8-0 v Norwich. Is that the same Sutton that knocked out former cup winners Coventry City out the FA Cup in 1989?

It may be on as they're into the 3rd round.I would love to get Sutton in the cup at the Ricoh and absolutely smash them about 10 v 0

Not really weird , wrong attitude , tight ground , thought they just had to turn up etc . home to Norwich , right attitude etc - hence home win .The same Norwich we beat the next week 2-1 at Carrow Road, with Speedie scoring that wonder chip.
Its weird how there can be a sequence of results like that Sutton beat us, Norwich beat Sutton, we beat Norwich.
I would rather we had beaten Sutton and lost to Norwich just so it wasn't brought up and shown every time the FA Cup comes round each season.
Yes ,they were asking why don't you all come down the Shed End etc . the muggy slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagsI was at Both the Cup final aged 18 and at Sutton,A few of us were in the Sutton end kicked off with Chelsea I remember.
That would be called the law of sod if we drew them having scraped through tomorrow
Except the Norwich game was an away winNot really weird , wrong attitude , tight ground , thought they just had to turn up etc . home to Norwich , right attitude etc - hence home win .
Oh I see so they aren't talking about Luton (non-league) at the time beating Norwich (Premier League) a couple of years back and thus removing that record from us?Unfortunately all their talking about on football focus today is the sutton game in 89. I remember being there and thinking we had hit an all time low but little did I know what would happen 20 plus years later
I'm just glad we are still seen as big enough for this result to be seen as a shock.Unfortunately all their talking about on football focus today is the sutton game in 89. I remember being there and thinking we had hit an all time low but little did I know what would happen 20 plus years later
Not the game I'm talking aboutExcept the Norwich game was an away win
id take that, it would mean we are into round 3. Tomorrow wont be easy at all and we will do well to be in the draw for 3rd round
