Walsall total 15
33% more staff than us, whilst we are a bigger club on the basis of having a 40% higher average gate.

2 of those are conferencing and events which we don't have because we don't run a stadium, and 2 of them are photographers.

Attendance means nothing, you don't need an additional accountant because you have more fans. Let's tall finance, walsalls last account they had a turnover of £6.7m, our last set of accounts showed us to have a turnover of just £4.7m. Perhaps with a turnover 40% higher than ours mean they need 33% more background staff...

I'm defending the club not sisu.

People aren't attacking the club. Well I'm not. I'm attacking Sisus investment/management of the club which in turn has created a shambles. It is in no way my friends or any of his colleagues fault. And neither am I saying it's a fault of 'the club' whatever that means these days.

The club is what Sisu want it to be.
With no interest in the club and running 'breakeven' means we are in a downward spiral.

running breakeven doesn't automatically mean we are in a downward spiral. We are top half of ;league one budget, today spanked by a league 2 club.

Surely we should be running break even ?. Its more about employing the right people, in the right positions and trying to compete. That's the bit we are lacking

And the communication to make the best of a break even situation situation.

We do conferencing and events: stuff is starting to take place at BPA, business networking breakfasts to name a couple. IMO it doesn't matter if two of them are photographers, that is all part of a media and communications team. Photography and video is done by the listed communications team at ccfc, which highlights that Walsall have a better back office infrastructure because they have specialists, rather than getting someone to do it as part of a different job. Goes back to the original post and point about stuff being done on the cheap.

Whilst you are right in principle, do many teams that are operating on a break even basis get promoted- and stay up more than 2 or 3 years? ( serious question as I don't know ).

We were given Yeovil as an example by Tim a couple of years ago. They got up with a budget of 2 million. All gone quiet over there now. Where is Yeovil in the league now?

Whats the point of owning a club if you don't want to put some money in it ?
Most clubs rely on their owners to waste a little money.
We have poor owners, poor management and now the resultant poor players.

No offence to them, but we are a bigger club than Yeovil

Why do you give them oxygen ?
They don't even try to justify what they are doing to the club yet fans on here try and defend the indefensible.

You mean like you did two days ago, saying you didn't mind SISU staying as long as they signed a long term deal at the Ricoh.

Hypocrite.

We are a bigger club then Bournemouth, Burton and Swansea as well.
Funny but they have all had some of our best players on the cheap.

Which of our best players have Swansea and Burton had on the cheap? I honestly can't remember selling a player to either club?

So - do we think MV will step down/back up to the boardroom and vacate the manager's post? perhaps TF will run the team (for free) until January, or should that say 'ruin it for free' !

From what I see the club haven't even looked for a new manager. Has there even been any interviews etc?

Who makes up the coaching staf for the first team? Venus and Oggy? Micky Mouse.

No I think he will hang on as long as he can, I can't see a new manager bring brought in before the window closes as they will want to spend some of the money they bring in during the January sales and I can't see that being in the plans.

Bournmouth paid one loan player £30k a week in the championship as an emergency loan signing. Yeah we are bigger than them,

Never even thought of Sisu when I said that. It was all about what was best for the clubs survival.
More chance of someone taking over once we are settled with a long term deal.
Never said I didn't mind Sisu. Again you have missed my point.

Yeh great idea. it's really tight financially which is having some negative effect on the club....so let's reduce revenues to the club

Can you give us a list of the non league teams who have bigger staffing size and cost, than us?

I would bet that the infrastructure at Forest Green, Tranmere and Wrexham is all on a more professional level than ours which is sort of the point he was making. Do you disagree with the central point of his post?

What about actually trying to increase turnover so that the break even figure is higher. How about starting that that process by not alienating the fan base, by actual genuine engagement with them rather than continual lies and misinformation. The problem with Sisu's model is that the break even figure will decrease season on season due to their incompetence and mismanagement.

My question was whether clubs with a break even structure- without equity injection- got promotions. Yeovil was an example. Bournemouth and Swansea probably not.

We are a bigger club than them. They have owners willing to put money in so they spiral up whereas we have owners who aren't so we're spiralling down. That's the difference.

I didn't miss your point. I asked for clarification that you were happy for us to sign a long term deal at the Ricoh and this is what you replied,

There is another option (preferred) and that relies on Sisu coming to the party and doing a long term deal with Wasps for the benefit of both parties.

Seems to me you were advocating SISU stay and sign a long term Ricoh deal. I think you said you wanted what best benefits SISU ;)

Perhaps we will have yet another opinion tomorrow.;)
