A few on the radio after said they were embarrassed and disgusted. The overwhelming majority supported it though from what I've seen

I'm not criticizing anyone. I'm trying to raise the issue beyond just protesting. Because protest are one thing but not having thought for what might come next is a critical mistake.
It's because of this I'm not so convinced protesting will achieve anything for CCFC at it's current crossroads other than bring even larger dark clouds over the club and the sense of doom.
It should not be about SISU out without regard to what's next but more about how to replace SISU.

The thing is sisu are not going to sell unless there is a legitimate buyer, I just don't see how protesting is going to attract that buyer. I'm not saying don't protest, I support the protests that have been going on. But you can't go criticising other people because they have a different outlook to you, sisu's biggest legacy is the division and disinterest of the fans. No matter what goes on we should support and encourage each other.

I feel like there are a few who criticise the protestors and say"let's fill the stadium" which for one won't happen and if it did it would just line Sisu's pockets. If you don't agree with the protests then fair enough but don't come on the radio and say you're disgusted or embarrassed about a protest when we all have one common goal.

EXACTLY. And that is the thrust of this thread.
1) A united protest is something we can get behind. - and probably a lot more fun than blindly following an undermined club heading for another relegation.
2) Leading contenders:
A) Whistles - impossible to block
B) Balls on pitch - tennis and or Beach?
C) Retaining match balls
D) Involving support from other clubs - as at Charlton
E) Pitch encroachment - 87th minute?
F) Sit in after match
3) The coverage of our plight is greater and more vociferous than ever as society becomes increasingly pissed off with the toxicity of neo liberal politics and globalisation as exemplified by largely anonymous off shore hedge funds.
As a symbol of this struggle and how these
cunts fuck over communities it would be hard to find a more apt example of this growing problem.

certainly is not me on the radio and i say again I'm not against protest as it raises awareness of our plight. However you ask me what we should do but the question is as I've said on plenty of threads repeatedly - if you are in the protest at all cost SISU out camp then stop and think what is next? You need to answer that yourselves in order to understand if protest will serve very much purpose in our current position? I wish anyone firmly behind the protest and keep making comment on here would just explain to me what the goal is and what comes when the goal (if ever) is achieved?
Seems to me if you have the interest at heart of CCFC (Not SISU) then you may come up with a formulated plan configured that will see the 'replacement' of SISU at the helm, which is what everyone wants.
The point is a blanket protest of 'SISU OUT' needs an end game or I fear what you wish for could become very ugly and far worse than you might have been thinking? Don't just brush your conscience with throwing tennis balls on the pitch have a plan and lets here it for the survival of our club?

You think new owners are materializing any time soon? There is no 'evolving situation'. It is what it is. If you don't have a common goal then what are you doing? Just hoping for the best?
Again protest is good and highlights our plight but to think it will dismiss SISU is misguided. They want a pay day or we will tread water and worse fall down the leagues.
The only way forward in the short term (sadly as I'm a SISU hater as we all are) is to support the team on the pitch while we still have one in this league and help it improve. i don't take the view I'm supporting SISU but supporting CCFC which will hopefully be here long after they are gone. A new manager may achieve something that eventually attracts new owners. If season tickets are not bought, if crowds diminish they will cut the budget to suit and we will end up in the wilderness and attracting buyers to what?
As some have already indicated the 'golden share' will revert to the football league and we will not have a club. Forcing SISU's hand to up sticks would surely see what remains of our assets stripped (Ryton) and then some. Hoping the situation 'evolves' and you get rid of SISU politely isn't going to end well. There's only one outcome to that - our club is lost. SISU have backed themselves into a corner, put up the wall and are not going anywhere. That's their set up.
You may want to ask where are potential investors? SISU have made that attraction almost impossible and probably why the likes of Hoffman and co are not even coming forward.
It's a terribly sad time for CCFC but hope exist that we can improve and become attractive, see some investors perk their interest and then hope we can pressure SISU to get out of our back yard for good as they take small comfort from what ever price they can recoup. That's the only way this can evolve in my honest opinion.

Our duty? Certainly not. how i wish we could raise a few million and let the manager use it on player budgets. that's not realistic though is it?
Maybe the question you are driving at should be: " is it our duty to seek out new investors?" Think that might be time better spent than protesting tbh.
