Some real nonsense here.
1. The team hasn't played attractive football since Armstrong and Murphy started to misfire after last December. We've always played one up front and played high balls over the defence
2. Slade inferred a team that had lost around 6 games on the run
3. The players he has bought in look far better than the players they have replaced.
The one issue that will cost is is goals. Teams in this league don't play attractive passing football. It's a physical league - look at Burton last season,
Margins are very thin. We could easily be 5 points better off. Like it or not fleetwod are a better side.
We competed well and there was little difference over 90 minutes.
It took Adams I think 6 games to get his first win - the key will be who he can get in as a striker.
But let's not kid ourselves he's a long ball merchant and we can play a premier league football style with the players we have.
