Didn't look like a sending off to me. Anyone in the stand on the right confirm?

I did wonder if the fact that we have history at Sixfields might create some problems at today's game.

It could be that this was the reason for getting a PL referee today, and maybe that worked against Willis who may have got away with it with one of the usual saps we get every week. Not seen the tackle though.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,Not forgetting the 7 Northampton who beat the fuck into the old boy outside the social club ,

Even if you buy the accelerationism argument, this makes us the story more than the owners. We'll get no sympathy from the football family for fucking up their afternoon.

We aren't down yet. It's doable if not likely.
As soon as we missed out late on in Slade's early games, I've been resigned to our fate. That was our chance to get a bump and a bit of confidence.

Just can't see it now.

At all.

Would like to be proved wrong(!) but it has the same feel of our previous two relegations now (except smaller scale, and angrier!)

You've made that up, Nick. Who thinks CCFC fans are pricks apart from you and others on this thread?
Maybe you do a Survey Monkey thing with the questions specific to the actions, & distribute it among all other football chat rooms.

I suspect the vast majority will think 'Pricks!'

I'm inclined to agree, but ever the optimist when it comes to City. But if we go down like this who will be blamed?

Pricks getting a hardon about SISU getting punished or fined. They really dont get it do they?
Maybe they don't care any more Nick have you thought of that.
Fans giving up in their droves and all you do is fucking whine.
Well maybe next season you can have the peace and quiet you had when at sixfields.
Enjoy

Some people are happy for us to get a points deduction to then almost certainly be relegated...meanwhile back on earth there are some fans that actually want us to win and stay up

Because they think it is SISU being fined and punished and not CCFC.

I whine when people disrupt matches yes. What's the problem with that?

Try not to wank them off too hard will you.

Let's not get all over this one again.

Bottom line is, even if you accept Sisu and Coventry City are one and the same thing, if you hurt Sisu financially, it will just mean cuts to the club as a result.

The possible sanctions could penalise some innocent parties.......for instance, placing a banning order on CCFC fans from away games. Hence, hitting the revenues of other Div 1 clubs.

A second sanction could be to make us play a number of home games behind close doors.....that would be the ultimate NOPM implemented by the EFL

Whilst I don't agree with flares I in principle accept all have a right to peaceful civil protest and therefore a peaceful pitch invasion is ok in my book. Of course they may and perhaps should get banned but they have the right to protest

Flares are illegal at sports events other than sea related stuff & parachuting. Pitch invasions are illegal too. So if you're breaking the law...you are in effect disturbing that peace you mention.

Years of support has taught me that expecting failure is realism!

I get your point, but I suppose I also see that whatever shit's flung at us over the years, we've barely registered outside of Coventry. So if Fisher blames us, if SISU blame us, have we lost *that* much? Nobody notices without protest and we have to do *something* to get a profile and, let's face it, whenever we try and discuss it here, it ends up we all wring our hands and end up in stalemate.

Now if it ends up *every* game I could see why it could be a shitter but... this is Northampton away.

Of all the games that would provoke a bit of anger, surely?

(and no, I'm not for doing it to get fines for SISU, I'm too much of a wet blanket to do it myself but... I can see why the current situation, and Northampton away would make some pissed!)

You've made that up, Nick. Who thinks CCFC fans are pricks apart from you and others on this thread?

What did Wigan fans think? What do opposition fans think?

What will gradually start to happen when it disrupts matches?

People are sympathetic until it starts ruining matches they have paid money to go and watch, that's when they get pissed off.

Beavon and Vernam must be wishing they hadn't come to CCFC.
