True, but how many CMs do we have now?

Will be a Stevenson replacement, but what about Reilly, Bigi, Rose, Gadzhev etc.
Just checked. Thought I was right. Reilly is left footed and can also play left back!

Let Haynes go, move Reilly to left back and get this brute in at CM (if he is any good).

I'd be a brute for 600 quid a week. Not very good, probably blowing out of my arse after 7 minutes but id hammer their players, abuse their fans and kiss the badge.

For £650 I'd pray before games.

Player of the Season guaranteed that.

Likewise.

I'd get a yellow card minimum every game, but I'd shit their players up and battle until the final whistle (if I was still on the pitch).

Any pathetic attempts at playing football from my own team members would not go down too well either...

Don't think I'd be able to catch up with an opposition player to foul them!

...when he was younger.

Who knows, now.

I think the Ipswich fans know what he's like now. According to thew Telegraph they've been on his back, because his perfomances have been so poor. The fact that he's being played as a DCM when he's an ACM may have something to do with it. Either that, or his legs have gone...............

For that precise reason I would stash a BBQ gun down the front of my shorts.

Might result in my getting shouts of 'you absolute weapon' though.
Mmmmmmm bbq gun

As I say, perfect for us.

Feels like we're the runt of the litter, waiting for the stronger ones to have had their fill, hoping that there's something left worth having at the end (that's the end of me being a sorry for myself City fan - my mate says I'm always the glass half full person, so from Feb 1st I'm having a month of positivity!!)

BREAKING: Coventry City reject offers for Ryan Haynes, Jordan Willis and Spurs interest in Cian Harries

2 offers from Rotherham for Willis.
Wolves offer for Haynes
Spurs want Harries on trial.
Nothing for Stevenson yet.
This is one of the major headaches for managers such as Slade. He said he had finished with his recruitment of defenders and was now going to concentrate on midfield and attack.

When something like this comes along with just a day and a half to go, where clubs are trying to take two defenders off you (well one and Ryan Haynes), then this surely results in Slade having to refocus and not only look for 2 midfielders and the striker he is looking for (or vice versa), but now for two defenders too.

Must make his task all the harder.

Not if you say no.

I don't believe this looks lie we had all these offers but only accepted a couple aren't we great.

Yeah, you can say no, but once clubs are interested players heads get turned.

Saying no can result in demotivated players.
And besides, isn't Haynes contract up in the summer?

Why let him go for nothing when you can get a bit of cash now?
