Just recieved a text from the programme sellers boss up the Ricoh, i've been told not to bother coming in to sell as only 6000 are expected. See you at Jimmy's Chin then boys!
These are the same Cov players who we will be supporting in Div One next year or even in the dole queue if things don't change and SISU get out. Is 15 minutes without your support really going to affect them that much, whilst it might affect SISU much more.

Yeah i bet SISU will think feck this theres a 15 min boycott we're out. What a joke it wont make a difference. The team need our support from the 1st whistle & what ever league they are in they will always get that from me.
why will effect sisu ? they know exactly what we think of them and if rumours are to be believed then this takeover is happening soon so why not support our team who are improving against a team who have shown in recent weeks are beatable from the first minute ! i will support any any player that puts on a cov shirt be it premier league or league 2 ... i dont like sisu and dont like our league position but our players need our support more than ever right now . just my opinion
Do you really think SISU even know where Coventry is let alone what the supporters think of them? SISU are based in London so yes I believe they are aware enough to know where coventry is. Iggle has been to the Ricoh a couple of times and as he is part of SISU they do know where it it.
La Lucha - I am advocating a total boycott but what we have said to those who want to go to the game join us for 15 minutes before and after kickoff so that when the game kicks off it is to a near empty stadium and that would gain media attention. It seems that most people are reading it as a 15min boycott.
Do you really think SISU even know where Coventry is let alone what the supporters think of them? The idea of the boycott / protest is not to tell SISU we want them out as they wouldn't care anyway, the idea is to raise national awareness of the state of the club and more pointedly the way SISU have mismanaged £37 million of their clients money and have no plan or hope of ever recovering that money. Its SISU's reputation as financial experts that we are trying to affect and the protest is designed to gain the attention of the media and have them asking questions about SISU.

:claping hands:exactly, in my opinion anyone that pays to watch Cov are indirectly killing Cov while sisuscum are still incharge of our club, the faster we get these clueless idiots out the better......
Not particularly agreeing with the argument, but some would say that anyone who hasn't being paying to watch Cov over the last few years has been directly killing Cov by reducing income.
I will speak on my personal experience. I used to go week in week out but ever since moving the Ricoh i’ve lost my buzz for the Saturday afternoon. I hate the whole experience. I’d rather go away games.
Down to a few factors.
1) The football
2) Been priced out
3) Soulless Ricoh
4) Lack of decent pubs near the ground
5) SISU
The whole experience of the day up the football has lost its appeal for me, not just on the pitch but in general.
I like many others would rather have a bet and watch the scores come in down the local. Football has lost its working class support in my eyes and it’s because of money men like SISU this has happened. They don't care about the fans simple as that.
Agree with pretty much every point you make there, the Ricoh can however generate a decent atmosphere, even without too many in there, but too infrequently.
The lack of pubs probably the biggest single factor for me, at Highfield Road would generally be watching the games half-cut.
Watching them sober a painful experience!
Highfield Road will always be the place for me. You could do the pubs along Gosford Street, walk into the ground with Mr Blue Sky blaring out. Stand in the West Terrace and enjoy the banter, have a smoke and regardless of the game, always have a laugh in there. Afterwards, stroll back down Gosford and end up in Town.
Now what we got, the Wheatsheaf or the Casino? Not exactly spoilt for choice plus in the ground now, stewards seem to find the slightest thing to complain about. Can’t enjoy a smoke, you can hear the players shouting (Like a reserve match) and then we have no good pub crawl back to drown our sorrows.
Kids nowadays won’t have the experiences we had of an tight atmospheric game, bunched together and generally enjoying ourselves. If you enjoy yourself now you get kicked out.
At least nowadays I rarely fall down the stairs, or when going for a quick pee just before half-time, get distracted by the Sky Blue Crew(scarily nubile and distressing young) practicing under the East Stand and accidentally walk into the ladies toilets, realise, and sheepishly walk out under the gaze of 15 or so, now silent, young girls.

Ultimately it is people who do not generate the revenue the club needs through their blatent apathy that have left this club where it is and ultimately where it belongs,
Agreed apathy is killing this club along with sisu
I understand what you are saying KD but sometimes people HAVE to make a stand. This boycott on Sat. for instance. Nobody wishes to hurt the club but for it's long term future SISU have to go.
What boycott the one where people go in 15 minutes after kick off and still pay the money?
If you're looking up the M69 and find yourself jealous of our support, there's something seriously, seriously wrong.if people had supported this club as they do in Norwich, Leicester, Forest, Ipswich than perhaps we would not have needed SISU in the first place.
Watch out our 6 fingered friends are here!If you're looking up the M69 and find yourself jealous of our support, there's something seriously, seriously wrong.
The boycott is for those who won't go, the protest is for those who go in late, better to do something than be apathetic to the situation
I'll have you know I've got ten fingers.Watch out our 6 fingered friends are here!
