People might not like this but make one game free on a first come first served bases I am a season ticket holder but not to bothered with that. Fill the stadium create a bit of atmosphere for once.

For that to happen though you would have to assume that the driving force was the well being/success of the team on the pitch and not ££££s and break even wouldn't you.......

So, to summarize, we are doomed !!
Dammed if we do, dammed if we don't

Not doomed as such but fans have no control or real influence...... same as at most clubs

We need to get something from our faceless owners, maybe we could start emailing Jim White asking Fishface to present to Seppala or whoever the idea that we as Coventry fans will try and get as many fans in as possible IF we can have certain assurances that if our break even in attendances is continually broken extra funds be made available to strengthen the team/club.. thus providing us with a team to support and them with a better chance of recouping more of their outlay.... worth a try, dont want to hear if we can trust them crap lets put our support where our mouths are

Tell you what just encourage people to go support the team...... forget about doing as a show of fan strength against the owners - they don't actually care so long as it isn't costing them more money.

Its a complete nonsense to think that the owners will give any assurances to the fans about spending on players especially when the club has to cover all its bills from the income it receives without further funds from the investors. Hardly going to be a written in blood contract is it. To think anything else misunderstands SISU and how they and Fisher are working the finances. It is unrealistic to think lots of fans will turn up to prove SISU wrong - they turn up when the team gets results and don't when the team fails it is as simple as that. If the club was winning and challenging most people wouldn't care that SISU needed to get out, they would go because the product brought enjoyment, pride and a sense of belonging.

Go watch the team because its your team, and encourage others to do the same - you wont change the attitude, objectives or timescale for the owners whether you can dismiss the broken trust or not

Very simply put and so right, if this is your club get behind the players and the badge, the rest is a side show

What we need them to commit to (assuming we are relegated) is say all season tickets £200 and if we sell 20,000+ season tickets and the team is not in the top 3 at the turn of the year, then they will refund 50% of the receipts. That would be the equivalent of 10,000 x £200 in a worst case scenario - significantly better than we already have, would help the team and potentially £2m or £4m in revenue from ST sales.

Wouldn't they end up losing money compared to now if we didn't sell 20,000 like last season when they were cheaper?

Probably but in L2 the budgets needed should be lower too. Numbers will dwindle again so if we are to break the cycle of a downward spiral something different needs to be tried.
