I think it will be much like this year. Less and less games for majority of fans. Attendances will fall

Is it enough to push sisu out? I do not knkw.

No I cannot bring myself to cheer this bunch of wet wipes out onto the Wembley turf, so I won't be attending Wembley and today only confirmed it. What a complete shambles of a club we have become, Thanks sisu and dim fisher
4 of us we're going to Wembley but after yesterday's farce we've all said no
I think if oxford get to the final it could be embarrassing for us...

Alternatively, Nick could print it off and if we end up challenging for promotion we could see posters opinions of supporting the team at that point?

I notice in your reply you say IF, do you really believe that with these clowns in charge this will happen. Funding will be cut as less season tickets we have not competing with around 5000 will not compete with around half that amount. Your name sums it up. Hope does not win you anything actions do.

i think its important not to turn this into good fans abd bad fans

every fan loves ccfc. they just have different opions on how to tackle the situation we are in

some say go up and support the boys
some want to withhold money in hopes owners leave

cant really have a go at either camp.

i will probably be somwhere in the middle.

As you pointed out I used the word 'if', so you've sort of answered your own question.

Not sure I get your final point, great expectations is not the same as hope. I am all for taking action against the owners if it is worthwhile and productive, but not against the team.

I think that's down to interpretation - my post wasn't intended to split fans into good and bad.

In my view being a supporter means supporting the team through good and bad. I also appreciate others will have been doing that for many more years than I and so will be at their wits end.

what i would say is that some see this as supporting the team though.

bit like you have to be cruel to be kind.

short term hit for long term gain etc

unless sisu change their ways what future do we have after all?

The thing is G, a number of people don't want to pay money for dross and constant defeat. I'm obviously not a ST holder and only attend a handful of games a season but if I look back on the amount of games I've attended over the past 5 years, they've decreased season upon season. It's only natural to want to support a successful team. The fact we've generally been on a downward spiral for the past 30 years is a credit and testimony to those who've stuck it out, week in, week out.

I've got other things to do on Saturdays now...doesn't mean that if we made the Play Offs next season, I wouldn't go. I'd say a large % of fans are in that bracket and there's nothing wrong with that. Kudos to the likes of Torch, Nick, Fernando etc who would be the first to renew. But for those who don't it doesn't mean they shouldn't re-ignite their flames of support if the trend of this football club suddenly changes for the better.

I agree that supporters should be there through thick and thin but that's not possible or desirable and everyone has a breaking point. When we win the Champions League in 10 years time, the STs who renew can proudly sit back and know it was their loyalty that helped to get us there. Not the likes of me turning up for 1-5 games a season. I'm cool with that though...

In the past we only needed to win 3 games on the trot and it's our year, we`re going up. Most fans are hard bitten now and only the most deluded optimistic fans will turn up at the Ricoh in August thinking things will be on the up. I know so many that will no longer get a season ticket while SISU are here.

I guess the gates will fall to under £5k.

If you buy a season ticket or match ticket for a Div 2 game you are prolonging the agony for all of us....think about it

So....are you not a 'fan 4 life' then?

I'm confused....
If your definition of a fan is somebody that continues to hand over money to whoever the current custodian of OUR club is regardless of their actions then NO I am not, I happen to think not doing so is the only way to rid OUR club of this Cancer

I have paid enough money into the club over many years and have no qualms about enjoying my day out at Wembley and then joining the planned demonstration .....I am aware the idiots running the club into the ground will profit from this (sadly) but we all know they won't reinvest it so I stick by my statement

If you buy a season ticket for next season then you're a bloody hero in my eyes, and deserve every respect. If you choose not to, that's fine too, who could blame you.

What I'm not having is that one set of fans should try to dictate or use emotional blackmail to pressure the choices of another set of fans. There's no right or wrong here, especially when no one here truly knows what actions may or may not impact what our current or future owners might do.

For everyone here who says that NOPM might force our owners out, there's a counter argument that says we might look more attractive to a potential owner if we're the best-supported club in L2. No one likes SISU, but there are plenty of people who still want to support the team, no matter the division, and no matter the owners. Who is anyone here to deny them that?

Stick by being a hypocrite? Nice one.

All you have done is completely nullify the stupid crap like "if you go to games you prolong this for everybody else" by doing the exact same thing yourself because it's Wembley and not Shrewsbury or somebody.

Keep up the moral crusade, it needs more strong people like you.

Tired of our fans giving it the crap about "if you to go games you are prolonging the agony" to just go against it anyway and make themselves look stupid.

Fair play if people want to go to Blackpool, Crewe, Hartlepool etc.

One of which you are completely going against yourself, so you have just disproved it straight off.

Interesting stuff about the agenda, what's mine then?

Think I will renew. May be mad but L1 to L2 doesnt feel as bad as Championship to L1. Expectations are so low that I would see mid table in L2 as progress. I doubt SISU are going anywhere either. Dont think there is any magic bullet in new (fan) ownership as Portsmouth are demonstrating. May as well enjoy the last season in the Ricoh and a few interesting away fixtures.

Oh and to go along with the thread, I'll be going next season whether there's a miracle and we are in L1 or in L2.

Not aiming this at anyone in particular

What I don't understand is why it is some fans effectively blame other fans for SISU still being here. That's just divisive. It has never been about the fans for SISU, take away all the ticket money and there is still income. Everyone stops going and the guarantee of them returning when sisu leave is? SISU going and the guarantee of new owners being able to invest as fans want is?

The whole thing has become a blame culture, it is always someone else's fault, it is always about the history and pointing fingers. What about the future, the solutions, the way forward, the plan. You see the fans demanding to know the plan have a point (NOPM & others) but what is their idea of the plan. Or does it revolve around liquidation and start again? Why would SISU do that (because it is they who would have to) and potentially lose one of the last bargaining chips the League Golden Share. If they wont let go of that how does NOPM work?

At a time when fans should be united you have everyman(from all sides) and his dog bickering and now pointing fingers at fellow fans, I just find that wrong

If you enjoy your day out at a CCFC match go, if you go for quality time with friends and family go, don't dress not going up as a campaign against the owners they don't care what you do. Don't try to balance going to Wembley with NOPM it doesn't balance because the cup final is going to ensure enough cash flow to survive the close season. Go to Wembley because you want to, go because like me its quality time with people who really matter to you. If you decide not to go next season fair enough your choice don't deride or judge others for thinking differently - no one has the right to be so judgemental of any fan whether they go or not
