Don't you all feel uncomfortable going down to Wembley and cheering that bunch of losers on to the pitch? And then cheering a lap of honour if we win the trophy?

I get all the day out, great adventure, massive crowd etc.but do these players deserve our rapturous applause as they enter the field of play?

I know we have done well in this trophy, but it has been quite a different team to the league side put out all season.

If it were the players that got us here, then yep, we should cheer like crazy, but now with our season over don't you think we will put out our 'strongest' team, a team that will be full of all the players that have failed us so, so badly.

Already 14 points adrift right at the beginning of March and an incredible 11 points adrift of the team sitting in the 4th from bottom slot.

It's truly shocking.

Great to have a lovely day at Wembley, but I am not too sure I can give the players a rapturous ovation as they enter the field of play.

Totally agree.
Had booked the Monday off work to recover from the weekend. Don't think I'm going to bother now, can't cheer on this bunch of losers who'll more than likely be relegated by the time Wembley comes around.

I'm not going down to support the shower of shit, I'm going for what to me is almost like a wake at a funeral. You'll see ppl you've not seen for many a year and give them the obligutary nod when your eyes meet. It almost like an army getting together one last time(the fans) surrendering as the battle has drained anything you had left in the tank but most of all, one last time for me, loud and proud with 40k others singing ....LETS ALL SING TOGETHER...

Then and only then I'll realise my club, spirit and enthusiasm has gone but will still have that tiny flicker inside me somewhere waiting to erupt should the owners do us a favour and fuck off.

I'll be back, one day. Even in league 2 if that's the case. But, and a big one at that we have owners in place who match the ambitions of the fans.

I applaud the diehards who will be there week in week out and really hope you have some success next season.

See you all at Wembley, not for the team, but for my fellow fans who I hope enjoy possibly our last hurrah

Yeah, get all that.

Just asking if we as fans are going to be able to bring ourselves to cheer the team like crazy when they come on the pitch?

Depends who he plays to be honest, harries, Stevenson, g Thomas etc deserve a bit of support for getting there.

Would be pissed off if he drops somebody like that for yakubu.

No, I'm cheering my fellow fans and not the team. Quite frankly I don't give a fuck over the result. Seeing a good turnout is what I want. I'm going to pretty well merry, and the atmosphere is what's drawn me.

Win or lose, I'll walk out of there at full time. Couldn't bring myself to clap a team off the pitch that's got us relegated to the fourth tier of English football.

Think that's the view of most people really. The club doesn't deserve a trip to Wembley-the players certainly don't (they got there by default as an own goal and penalties helped) but the fans certainly do.

There'll be no clapping or cheering the players from me either, they've given us the worst season in the club's history.
I left it off my earlier list of reasons but there's more than an element of goodbye involved in this Wembley trip for me. The CCFC I fell in love with is dead and I'm well aware I sound like a bit(!!) of a wet blanket but I think Wembley will give me a bit of closure with regards to that. I'm still interested in CCFC, even since moving abroad I've spent hours on here and GMK before it, listen to the games on Sky Blues Player and prayed for televised games so I can watch live, and that won't change, but I need to move on from what CCFC was to me and learn to love it again for what it is now.

wembley is the hope that i get 1 day to be proud of my club playing on a big(ish) stage and winning something.

these are normal dreams for football fans but for ccfc fans its quite shocking to think of anything but clubs demise.

Was excited about the idea when we first qualified....now it means nothing! Glad I haven't got a ticket yet! I'll only go if Slade has gone by then and not there to lead the team out, which would be utterly laughable!!!

Showing Fisher and Seppala what they could achieve at CCFC with professional management, communication and cash injection in the right areas and taking a long term view on how to run a successful business
40,000 people who would support the dream with the right owners in place

The Wembley trip means nothing to me either. I think it's a sick joke that we are there, even though it is in a tinpot competition. We have the worst team in our history and will almost certainly be relegated before the big day. I am fortunate enough to have been at Wembley for both games in 1987 and I fear this would be just disappointment. I do get that younger fans want their day at Wembley now and I hope they do all have a great day, irrespective of the football.

I had the chance of tickets for my wife and I on Monday, plus coach travel, that worked out at less than £30 each including travel. We thought about it but decided not to. I hope whoever gets those seats at least has some memories of seeing their team at Wembley, albeit with this lousy team.

for me, it's a day on the piss with thousands of other fed up city fans and possibly the last time we have a big away day for the foreseeable.

I don't give a shit about the result, sad as hell that the one thing I'm only looking forward too once inside the stadium is the sky blue song sang loud and proud by 30k+ fans. A song that as a kid made me fall in love with going up the city some 33 years ago.

Sisu, thanks for killing the club but you'll be gone and we will rise up again.

Enjoy your day ladies and gentleman.
The question , what does Wembley mean to me,,, easy. On the piss from Coventry station 9.51 to Euston . meet the lads in the Doric Arms for more refreshments
Then make our way to the Wembley ,where we will continue to sing protest songs .We all have one thing in common and that is Hating SISU 365 days a year not 364 !!!!
Were all behind the team that will never change, The result don`t matter ,just have a great day it could be your last in your life time ... PUSB.. SISU OUT !!!!

Surely the thing everybody has in common is CCFC?

As you are breaking the NOPM for a day, it must be 364.

It should be a special occasion, a celebration of like-minded individuals leaving a memory to lift you above the doom and gloom. So in summary I understand you completely - I too would not have wanted to take the wife.

A great day for a momentous time with the kids, undoubtedly, but to say it's a hollow achievement (reaching the final) is a major understatement.

It's a chance for silverware, I get it, but God forbid we fuck that too or some of us will be griping about it for years.

We can but see what the future holds, perhaps the horizon has hope on it, and next season we'll have seen the last of SISU.

My wife was a season ticket holder from 1990 until we went to Northampton and never missed a home game in all that time. She didn't go in 1987 but is like me in that we have just had enough of the current madness.

Was just using the opportunity for a facetious wife joke Sid. Not in any way questionning Mrs Sid's commitment to the City, sorry if it came across that way!

A day out with my brother and nephew.
A day out with fans that still support this dying team, whether they have been doing it from an armchair or going home and away.
The bad taste as Tim Fisher and the Sisu mob mix with the football hierarchy who have allowed them to be here and supported them in their 'doomed to fail' plan
I can't relate to this team as being true CCFC however I do hope 'they' win but to me the result is irrelevant as we head for L2 and beyond.
