Rather a random post ? Along the same lines, he was a good cricket player...they say you should never meet your heroes.
I've met Oggy twice, on both occasions I wished I had not. Thoroughly unpleasant.
I sat on his knee when he was dressed as Santa. Greg Downs was there, I don't think he was dressed as an elf but the photo's long gone sadly. It was in the old bar at HR, was it Strikers?

Was this recently?

he was nice to me and gave me autograph. i was 10 though
When we were playing football in Lowther St, Sean Flynn pulled up asking for directions to Highfield Road. Locations marked out with devastating accuracy below, I'm still not sure if he was just taking the piss or not.
Just asking a question! How much do you imagine Oggy earns on this gravy train?Saw him down C&NW cricket quite a few times drove a nice BMW but very miserable bloke, judging by the quality of our 2 young goalkeepers he should be relieved of his position as goalkeeping coach, great servant that he was the gravy train has stopped running and he needs to jump off.
Nah, this was my first time meeting the Sean Flynn. Also, was stood behind Cobi Jones in a McDonald's queue and didn't realise until he was walking out that he was an international footballer rather than a homeless man. Dirty wax jacket, right scruffy bastard. He probably remembered the Christmas encounter and wanted another chat.

Last year then?
Loving the new Avatar. Good to see the TM love in has ended and you're onto 'new (ish) meat'. Good work ;-)
Is Edjenguele his son-in-law yet?
Played cricket against his son a couple of times with Oggy watching on the sidelines in a competitive dad way. From what I've heard, his son wasn't as good a cricketer as Oggy.
Also remember seeing him at a school six aside competition once. He seemed to have gigantic hands and was able to carry two footballs in each hand at once.
Yes, I accept that he is a miserable sod but wouldn't most of us be after sitting on that bench for the past 15 years. But he was a brilliant keeper and undoubtedly kept us in the top division at least a couple of times. Only had two main criticisms, firstly he couldn't kick straight for toffee and secondly, he never seemed to save penalties.
