Err! NO You won't intimidate me matey.

It's my football club as much as yours.
But if you are against Sisu you must also be a Wasps lover.
Funny how they back sisu taking everyone to court but are up in arms when there is a counter attack.
What the fuck do they expect.
My neighbour put in complaints about my house extension, then was shocked when I put in exactly the same complaints word for word about his 2 years later.

Erm, or because he has openly said himself he is only interested in wasps and not ccfc?

Get over your conspiracy theory. He never posts about anything remotely CCFC unless Wasps are in the thread. No fucker is backing SISU, its about Wasps charging the football club over the pitch.

That's the point.
What is the truth behind this?
Probably asked us to stump up a few hundred quid to share the electric bill with them to help remove the footprints.

Yes apparently

take away the 250 year extension and the original lease remains owned by ACL who are owned by Wasps. I think if they are claiming that the 250 year lease should be offered to the public then it is a nonsense because only ACL can extend the lease while ACL own the original lease.

Is the value of the lease more than £1m? Well is the £1m the only financial benefit CCC receive or does the extended lease create right to an annual fee for the next 250 years? Is there an open market value to a lease extension that cannot actually be offered to the open market? What income did CCC have a right to under the original lease? Got to ask those sort of questions

Was the 1000000 the ground rent on the lease paid in advance for 250 years? The lease was paid for and the ground rent in advance making it as good as a freehold - almost.

With Gilbert doing exactly the same.

Shame the city hasn't got a decent journalist looking into matters rather than two charlatans looking after their own agenda.

he only appears when someone slate wasps, then makes up bullshit about supporting city for 300 years. He's no city supporter.
And why would anyone who hates an out of town hedge fund with a history of uprooting a sports team from their roots stick up for another out of town hedge fund with a history of uprooting a sports team from their roots?

They could argue the value CD yes. But so I should imagine can CCC to include the social benefits. Still comes down to a lease extension could only ever have been sold to one party - ACL - which does not necessarily enhance the value with 40 years left on the lease it could well depress it. Also if CCC now receive an annual lease payment you would have to factor that in by discounting the future revenue streams to get a present value of that. The decision will be based as at January 2015 what happens in 40 years is not relevant - what was the value in 2015

It is to all intents and purposes freehold in valuation terms yes, is it legal terms? that's probably something very different. The freehold still exists. It is still owned by CCC. The lease gives you different rights to holding the lease 40 years or 250 years

The extension was agreed in principle at the Council meeting. probably dependent on Wasps getting the 50% Charity share, was the lease deal finalised then or was it approved so it could be progressed. The lease didn't exist until January 2015.

Is the £1m a one off payment or are there other income streams CCC benefit from?

More than anything else JR2 is going to depend on the sequence of events

I thought the million was the annual lease payment in advance - 250 years.

Blokes a hypocrite, he keeps making a point of his principles and morals and keeps tripping over them.

It's embarrassing really.

still no comment on the footballing events of the last few days eh? More concerned with defending wasps?

If it really was because of legal action why did they start proceedings and talks in the first place?

Maybe when they started talks whilst their legal guys and risk managers were looking at all the implications.
Then once it was all reviewed and it was pointed out about all the remedies that are available to a judge. They decided that they needed to try and protect themselves.

This thread is hillarious.

I love this forum sometimes.

P.s. Wasps are categorically in the wrong here. It's bullshit and everyone knows it. The problem is (and you can see it within this thread) that there's so much hatred for SISU, it's used for justification of anything shitty that Wasps/CCC do. It is also is used an excuse for anyone dispcable enough to support them.

So they just wouldn't start talks in the first place would they? They would hold off until their risk managers had looked at it all.

When's the "proud of wasps for standing up to SISU" thread coming?

It's how Wasps play the game, it makes it easy for them. Same with the academy, they managed to rock up to the one site out of 17 without a sniff of beef. They then just gave it the "The door is open, they can use the kicking barn at commercial rates" and people go on about them being helpful.

Can't see many people not saying Wasps are wrong. The pitch was trashed before the pitch invasion. They are taking advantage of the pitch invasion.
This is how the relationship seems to be now.

It's bait to make you click?
If I support Wasps and ccfc do you not want me to post here?

So where is the click bait? It's a thread about CCFC on a CCFC forum.

Tell me where the misleading headline has been to get you to click through to here?

Point out the actual click bait or pipe down, because it just shows you haven't actually got a clue what you are talking about. Which is becoming a recurring theme really when people give it that line.

Post all you want, just don't moan that people point out your comments about people who went to Sixfields then run to wave a Wasps flag about. Another one who hardly posts that jumps in when it says Wasps! :emoji_joy:

I find it staggering that anyone who supports CCFC can try to defend Wasps on stuff like this.

Whenever I bring up the academy they either bleed ignorance or blame SISU. 'They deserved it' apparantley. As has been dropped a few times, CCFC is just seen as collateral damage or suddenly without any ties to SISU.

Not sure, why are you writing one?

Wasps are not currently 50/50 in a business with a children's charity. That's was getting pressurised to either go out of business or sell under value.

Just because I am not dumb enough to say CCFC at all costs over any other entity in life, doesn't make me a bad person.

You going to keep pushing the Jimmy Hill fund charity line, then be happy for damage to be done to another charity because you don't like one of the trustees. Classy

Bloody hell don't admit that, you get set on by the forum mafia

Ah the mafia for pointing out you post shite? Bang on about your morals and how you have given up on CCFC and are only interesting in Rugby. Not going until SISU have gone because your principles won't let you. What's that, a trip to Wembley? Ooohhhh.

It's quite funny really.

OK then, because the charity didn't lose money when they sold to Wasps? They sold under value to them didn't they?

If the Legacy Fund suddenly starts being run by a snake then I would dislike them too. Simple as that really.

Forgive me for not reading all 6 pages but this just strikes me as childish antics!

Doesn't matter who has reported it - appears both the CET and Observer have ran articles on it (almost like it's a bidding war by them two sometimes to see who can run the article first).

Wasps are in the wrong here and whilst we can all say that SISU need to buck up their ideas and get around the table and re-commence negotiations, it's clear Wasps are going to make it as difficult as possible for us to come to any mutual agreement!
