I sometimes wonder what you're doing on this forum...you clearly know very little about football....
Why have you put the limit on football ? !

The guy has been expected to perform in the last 10 mins of a game...what chance does he have!!!
I bet he wouldn't play Haynes in a back 3 either...I sometimes wonder what you're doing on this forum...you clearly know very little about football....
DKE
Jones
Stevenson
Beavon
Think the likes of Jones and Stevenson may thrive under Robins
Clarke
Reilly
K Thomas
Beavon
A team needs a core or players with experience, pace, ability and desire.
bigi
stevenson
g thomas
reilly
at minute
although 3 of them are cms and now we will probably only play 2 lol
3 slade signings. makes you wonder why the team got worse after his january transfer window
have a day off? it was a genuine question.
dont be so defensive.
also dont talka bout tactics and structure pal. the slade era showed you dont know much about it.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Reid in there. Bradford though of course will be well versed in how to handle him, with him being their ex player.i think reid and jones will benefit from robins myself
Ha ha ha, back in this mode are we!
Nothing defensive here.....
Don't spoil anther thread with your hatred for Slade, we know your stance, support the man here now and forget the rest....
And please, please don't question my knowledge about structure and tactics because of what Slade did in his time here.
i think reid and jones will benefit from robins myself

I'm also interested to see if Robins sees George Thomas as a striker or continues to use him as a wide player.I think I a lot will depend on if he goes with 442 formation or a 4141, 4231 system.
If he goes back to 442 Reid will be in, any other system only a 4231 could you kind of get him in. A 4141 you'd opt for Kwame Thomas in that position on the left instead of Reid with Beavon up top.
There's almost a Double entendre in there. B-)a lot of people putting Jones down, I must be missing something because he doesn't appear to bring a lot to the team
i am not spoiling anything. i said he brought 3 players in that you (and one of them i picked too) would have in starting line up. yet results wise we got worse. was he just so terrible tactically? or are these players as good as you think? just questions nothing else!

I also wonder if might consider Haynes as a left midfielder rather than full back too.
Team selection tomorrow should prove interesting.

I'll answer one relevant question to now...
Beavon is not a 10/15 goal a season man himself but he can create them goals for the right players around him like Kwame and George. His work rate a desire, defending from the front approach is rare in players these days.
Reilly is really grafting in the midfield too and starting to push forwards with a few shots that have gone close.
Kwame Thomas is coming good now and it's a shame he's missed the bulk of the season as he could of been good with sordell in a 442 with a Reid firing on all cylinders.
Clarke is in as like I said you need a warrior type defender who'll head everything and the only experienced player in the back 5. Put a fast ball playing player like Willis along side him and your see a good partnership. He's proved he can be equally good as bad but out of the choice of Clarke/Willis/Turnbull a core pair of Willis and Clarke is my choice given the lack of leadership on the pitch.
yeah i agree with alot of that. so it was just slade poor management.
finnaly the players are so bad its not russels fault myth has been busted!
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Reid in there. Bradford though of course will be well versed in how to handle him, with him being their ex player.
Again your lack of ability to understand statistics finds you wanting.
1 pt off safety
14pts off safety
you backed a pub manager. its ok though as no one respected your views on football anyway.
slades 0.5 ppg is lowest of mowbray/venus/slade
he got sacked off quick time for a reason
1 proper manager for 10 games and he didnt do well. severe damage done with 2 shit managers that were kept on too long.
the end
also u shud note i said it will be interesting to see if robins answers the question about the squad being one that should be rock bottom or not. i did not say he will defintley prove it. but anyone who said no manager could do better will have egg on their face wether we stay up or not i think
robins just said in press conference he happy with squad. got experience but also young talented players
whether hes telling truth or not we cant say for sure.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Reid in there. Bradford though of course will be well versed in how to handle him, with him being their ex player.
Your right about his assessment of the squad, he's gonna say he's happy and there's good technical players.... the mental weakness has been highlighted a few times this week in the side that's cost us dearly and notably under Slade against Peterborough, Bolton, Wimbledon and even Fleetwood. He's not likely or any manager for that is gonna come into a team and say there all weak and pathetic. You need to lift the group you have.
He's been brought in to bring a fresh life into a dire situation that even he's said is a unique job. No other job like it in the country.
He's said he can see the plan with both TM and RS transfer windows and what they tried to achieve. TM liked technical players and RS proven league one players and ones with experience.
It's all ultimately gone wrong for various reasons for all managers but I feel Mark Robins has come in at the best time of them all.
We all but down so the pressure will start to lift off the players, and we will pick up results and gift some still no doubt but soon the day at Wembley will come and players will lift themselves for that of the ones who's available for selection.
It's important to gain a little momentum to end the season well than go into the summer beaten. Let's hope for a fair result tomorrow or Tuesday to kick start a feel good factor to the Robins era.
