Season ticket prices 17/18 season (14 Viewers)

Controversial as this may be, I don't get the comparison to Bradford.

Whether Bradford do their tickets for £150 or more, they have a fan base. Always have, always will.

Let's say, had we reduced ours to £150, how many who aren't already ST's or how many who'd already decided not to go next season would buy? I don't think it'll make a difference imo!

I don't think charging the same as before, or in some case more with the changing to a two-zone system is a wise move. I agree it will alienate more fans who were either 50/50 on next season, or even some who were set on going!

I am genuinely worried about our attendance figures next season more than I was before this was announced!

Maybe the Butts will be a suitable home for us at this rate :(
No they didn't always have the fan base the price grew their fan base. Otherwise there would have been no reason to bring in this low price

You're right £13.00 a game isn't bad. However why after we have just watched the worst city team in forever would anyone in their right mind want to pay the same as they have this season to watch us In a league below
They want some of us to pay more

I understand your point. However that's the going rate, it's a take it or leave it policy. Like I say I'm in based on its £16, I'd pay near that to watch non league football several leagues lower, and I paid on average £30 for my league one away games this year.
That's the only way I'm working is it reasonable or not

Problem is the ones who were the 'will go anyway' fans are moving into the 'don't go anymore' category.

all the more reason to maximise income from those going.

I'm with Nick on this one, what does it work out at, £13 a game ?.

This isn't / shouldn't be the reason people don't go.

So, 1 of our 4 has just confirmed that he will not be renewing (not someone who never changes his mind). Has held a ST for 20 years or so. If another of our crew dives out, then I'm out also. Will go to some away games and the odd home game.

£299 if paid early, save yourself £50

What about the additional 'carrot on a stick' discount that the current ST's fell for - is that still available?
Fell for what exactly?? I fell for nothing and bought my ST with my eyes wide open knowing exactly what was on offer

Yep, I just think it's a kick in the teeth and just goes to show how much SISU really dont care about alienating the fans even more.

I'm out on the basis I refuse to pay the same I have this season, not even to be recognised for having a ST this season and getting some sort of discount for next really winds me up.

I think the zones are pointless, it's not as if some places have restricted views with pillars.
If we play next season like this season I would be happy with pillars and a sleeping bag.

It's not a deflection is it? Unless I can see into the future when I said the same thing a while ago.

Should I pretend to be angry about the price?
Pretending to be something would help. Fuck knows we need someone who spends most of their own personal time on here with some more vertebrae. My personal opinion and that of the mainly silent majority is that the carcass that was once a more proud Coventry City FC is being pecked to death by SISU. It's quite simple how this is going but some seem to keep towing the party line. There are many like me watching from the sidelines thinking the same.

What party line? The one that the price isn't the issue so much as the way it's been handled?

Not the old spine issue, my back is fine. I've never dead lifted heavier.

I'm not going to pretend to be anything. Sorry

I wasn't going to join in the boycott which I think I'm in a minority but those prices are a massive F you to the fans!

It's not about whether any of us renew. I probably will but the fact is many won't and that's Robins war chest reduced. Lower budget less quality more likely to fail and the downward spiral continues when we had an opportunity to start reversing it. Shit decision but hardly surprising from these cunts!

This is the same as the "top 8 budget" thread... it's nothing to do with the price. £299, or £13 a game doesn't fuss me, even in L2, the issue is TF. Get rid of him, or better still sell up, and people will pay that.

Still wouldn't have harmed to offer some kind of incentive though... maybe £50 off for those who didn't get VFM from this seasons st. And they really should ditch the early bird. It's become one of those things they just do now without thinking it through. The fans have lost faith, give them chance to see what the teams going to look like before committing.

If you've got no friends to meet then I suppose you can do that. ;)
I like to meet up with people I've known for years.

So text them and say to move or just get a cheaper ticket and sit there?

As I've said, zones are bollocks anyway

This has really pissed me off. Been speaking with a few mates and we were all on about getting one as we miss the craic (haven't had a ST for 2 years). I'd at least expect them to put on some sort of offer given the shite we've been served up this season, but no, another fucking piss take and slap in the face for every fan. Fuck the people who run the club. No chance of them going back on this either because they're fucking clueless and just don't care.

im in a whattapp group with five other city fans and 3 out of us six have decided not to renew, how sad.... SISU had a chance to win a few fans back and once again screwed it up!!!

what a fecking joke they are!! no doubt timmy the knob will crawl from under his rock soon saying its the customers fault!!
