I agree. As far as i know he might be a great bloke, mates of mine do vouch for him and tell me he has genuine reasons for whatever grievances he holds. However IMO he is not conducting himself well in all this. He comes across as bitter, vindictive and gleeful in his status as antogonist in chief against Sisu's victims.

Hoffman speaking on the radio soon shut Les Reid up on twitter. He was posting all his so called exclusives about what the deal involved, but all he revealed was the snippets that SISU had given him.
Hoffman phoned in and revealed the whole offer because of the above, then Reid goes missing off twitter. The man has been shown up for what he is.

Would love to see this as a positive and a sign that a decent offer that could be accepted is likely but this doesn't seem to be it. I can't see SISU living on the promise of some money down the line if things go well. They know from the last 10 years how that plan can work out. Reckon they will want the majority, if not all, up front.
Also a bit worrying as it gives the impression Hoffman and his consortium don't have enough money themselves to cover a takeover. What happens when the club needs money to keep running day to day?
We're struggling to break even and put a decent team on the pitch as it is, giving away 50% of transfer income over the next 3 seasons and selling Ryton would put a serious strain on the finances. Did he cover how the club would function with the loss of transfer income and what we would do for a training ground?

Thing is I believe that his 2nd offer is a little over 1 million pounds and Shitsu get that and more every year on interest so I think he has to come up with a more cunning plan to tempt the locusts

Sisu have to accept the market price for a Div 4 club. They wont get a lot of money upfront because a Div 4 team isnt worth a lot of money!

Yes seems a bit of an odd structure. I would expect a bit more up front and less add ons. It makes me worry about how much or little money they have. If it's the latter they are weakening potentially what are already weak revenue streams.
For me its not just what deal they have offered but how the envisage running the club. I accept that might have to be revealed after the deal is done.

I dont accept that is their real strategy, it's their fall back position if they cant sell.. They want to offload this business and PR disaster. They are haggling, fans need to back the bid and pressure Sisu into selling. (for instance by increased threats of Season ticket boycott).

Correct. Seriously the chances of us returning to the Premier League in the next generation are, whilst not impossible, pretty slim. If SISU are (rightly) carrying the can for the last ten years, then surely any new owners carry that responsibility going forward, and any offer should not tie in SISU's interest in our future performance, it should be a clean break...?

Complete agree they have parked the club. Running it at break even means they can do what they want with it.
As income decreases and fan interest decreases, there has to become a point where the club becomes a waste of time to them.
I assume this will be after the result of JR2 ?

It may seem sisu have "parked" the bus but time isn't on their side, there's the ground issue. It's the EFL agm in May and the question of where we play our home games will be asked and answers required. If the threat of expulsion in 12 months is threatened that could reduce the ccfc value at a stroke

Oh and he said they do not want to sell the training ground but had to include it in the offer because it is an asset.
