Christ, why are things so difficult for some people? There is no negativity around Hoffman. Similarly no one is happy with SISU.

No one is saying he should put the full value in from day one ?

It appears to me that interest payments are equivalent to player budget. Okay they are not taking it out but what we owe them keeps growing and ties them more into not releasing the club.

Another thing regarding the bid. The club is worthless, doesn't matter if SISU have lost money, the debt is their problem. They only paid a pound etc.

Contrast this attitude to that of CCFC and the Ricoh. Why should CCFC be given the stadium? They should have to pay the formula price etc.

That's his truth or understanding not necessarily yours or mine and that is perfectly fine. I agree with some of it, question other parts

I am entitled, the same as anyone one else, to question the motives and actions of SISU, CCC, Wasps, CCFC, Fisher and yes Hoffman & Elliot - and will continue as I have for years, to do so in as fair manner as I can.

I am entitled to use my knowledge of CCFC, this whole saga and financial matters to raise questions. GH is not, nor should not be excluded from question- that is not picking sides that is simply looking beyond the obvious. Having met him I know he is open to being questioned. If I question or explain elements of the bid, or the potential reaction of Seppala or SISU, it is exactly that. It is not taking sides, it is not arguing personalities or dissing GH or giving JS/SISU my support or credit

I am not interested in the personalities, I am interested in the nuts and bolts of it all. I do not care if GH is a well meaning caring CCFC fan, so am I, so are you - does the bid work

It is vital to stand back from the emotive side of all this, not always easy, SISU & JS are not interested in the emotions so you have to deal with them on that basis, you have to deal with them in terms of finance. CCFC is not on the SISU doorstep - stirring things up in Coventry might not even be recognised by them

I think the current bid is under funded, gives too much potential away if it is ever realised, gives me concerns about working capital then ending up in a similar financial state to now in a few years time and is well short of what it takes to get JS to even start to negotiate. I believe it was, is, and will be destined to failure unless significant cash funds can be offered as a down payment with significant working capital to back it up for several years. That's my opinion

It is too important to CCFC future to simply accept without real question something just because it is the alternative to SISU

I think the basis of the bid has been what can be put together then dress up rather than estimating what is JS looking for and how do we talk her down

I am concerned about the divisions within the fans over this whole saga which to be honest appear to have got more bitter because of claims of boycotts, NOPM and even by questioning a bid. I do not like the name calling and insults we are all supposed to be CCFC doesn't mean we share the same truths or opinions

My conscience is clear over SISU, I was warning about the drive and motives of a hedge fund in 2008 and have consistently challenged them ever since. I want them gone like yesterday but not at any cost. It has to be the right deal, whilst the club is cash flow balanced then the club is safe & parked in the immediate term and there is a little time.

I think it is up to any individual to choose for whatever reason to go to matches some, all or none of the time - I respect whatever choice is made

I am entitled to my opinion, my view point, to express or explain facts as I see them (usually with reference to evidence). I usually indicate or make obvious when it is my opinion. Everyone is entitled to express their opinion or viewpoint - argue it certainly but respect it

I heard the names weeks ago. If I had come on here and stated who they were. I would of got dogs abuse for telling SISU who the investors were. Trying to scupper the deal. You have to remember there is a few loons on here that think I'm SISU lover or whatever label their putting it on this week. I kept my mouth shut as I don't want them here, nobody does. I don't think there was a deal to be made. I don't believe it was a genuine offer. I do believe it is to ramp up pressure on the club. I say club and not SISU, as it's the club that suffers.

I would guess the negativity around Hoffman and the bids may give the appearance that some on here prefer Sisu.

I know it might be hard for you to comprehend but perhaps people are just pissed off that the deal didn't go through, and are perhaps unhappy that our hopes have been raised and dashed again.
Of course in your alternative reality I should be pleased with Hoffman, sending him emails of congratulation and high fiving him even though his bid failed, as it shows my hatred of SISU.
I would love new owners, I am pleased Hoffman gave it a go and would love him to succeed, but I am not going to champion a failed bid (as it means we are still stuck with SISU) just to please people on this site.

Yes, it looks worse. The bid if succesful will take away a significant part of the clubs income and transfer it to SISU the next 3 years.
That will leave even less to run the club.
Remember how people over the years have been up in arms about sisu taking money from the club? I can't count how many times those claims have been proven wrong.
This bid if succesful will make sure sisu take out money from the club in the next 3 years - or more.
