What in that is going to give them hope to go and renew today?
What in that will stop people buying an ST too? Because someone said "A potential drop in ST sales should be an incentive for SISU to come to the table" which makes you instantly think this article was released to persuade people to boycott? Jesus wept!

I'm just waiting for "SISU will cut budgets if ST sales don't improve", yet we're already assembling our squad without any real knowledge what the final ST figure will be... thus proving ST sales aren't effecting the budget so far...

Because it's obvious? Starting with fans groups saying we can get hold of the club through admin, through italia saying to hold off renewing when he was leaking things, through hoffman making a point about not renewing. Season ticket price outrage a month after the prices come out on just before the renewal was extended

I have just shown you?

so, as you wont spell it out, am I correct in assuming you think this article has been designed to come out today to stop people buying a season ticket today.

This has been done by introducing a wealthy ccfc fan an him highlighting the revelation that season ticket sales are less than last season ?

The telegraph and one of the investors timed the release of this news to coincide with the final day of the earlybird season ticket offer. Oooooooh, what a find Nick. Gold star.

Can I have two as I predicted it?

Rather embarrassing wouldn't you agree?

I am assuming it's all part of a PR game.

Him mentioning that st sales being low means SISU will have to negotiate sums it up.

No whats very weird is you assuming everyone is as bad as Sisu without giving them a chance!
You have hung them before they have even had chance to commit a crime against CCFC!
Keep it up Nick your making Joy and Tim so proud!

I wasn't the one comparing them to SISU. I was saying not to. Read it...

How is it sad? Because I am not taking things at face value?

It was only a couple of weeks ago you were telling people it was going to be a great week.

John. Go and sit down. There's enough to laugh at Nick with at the moment without you windmilling with something you've got wrong.

Whats that got to do with what you're implying though?

And by the way, it was a great week, we're edging even closer to the end.

If the media are planting stories tactically to take the shine off things the club does, they're going to have to go all-out to ruin the announcement of the brown away shirt. Nothing can bring me down that day.

I am implying there is a PR game going on and a boycott is being pushed thinking it will force SISU to sell CCFC to Hoffman.

I am saying I look past face value of it all, rather than just gobbling it up and getting excited every other day.

Are people being deliberately thick? You've got one of the investors in the Telegraph saying if we don't sell many season tickets it might force SISU to sell up. How can you not interpret that as encouraging a boycott?

is there anything wrong with that ? both sides are using PR to push their arguments

I agree, the PR isn't just on one side. Far from it.

Is there anything wrong with a potential buyer trying to distress CCFC to force a sale? How did it work out last time?

so, out of all the below in the article, you highlight and concentrate on one thing........

local man
CCFC fan
millionaire
sons have season tickets
it not just Hoffman and Elliott in the consortium
other investors that are wealthy men
going to put an improved offer in
sisu can keep ryton
robins integral to the club
season tickets plummeting and sisu need to say what they want to do
fisher meeting with SBT was terrible
"we cant let this carry on"
"lets try and engage with sisu"
sisu have to understand we are their clients and fans
not looking for a return

so what if it is a pr game? everyone does something with a motive. sisu will too!

here it looks like it is to get sisu to come to the table. everyone on this forum knows its a tactic. getting behind the consortium does not mean people are bring tricked.

No he said "potentially an should". Very careful wording. So today's article was released to deliberately make people boycott? Whilst completely forgetting why people are boycotting in the first place, to me mate that is fucking thick.

Yes, of course it's very clever wording.

The same as when Hoffman said the same the other day.

Distressing companies seems to be a general practice these days (sadly) but if one side has used that weapon there is no reason for the other not side too. Hopefully it might bring all parties to the table and a deal can be struck so CCFC will have a secure future and the fans can talk about football instead of all the other crap surrounding the club.

You don't see me on here every day getting excited though do you? Infact I've been more cautious this time round than any other time.

yeah if they are distressing ccfc lets hope it works out better than sisu distressing the council(scum) where we ended up with the fucking wasps owning ricoh

btw are their 2 articles out because i never got any jist of pressuring sisu st sales wise from original one.
