No, I am pointing out the silly PR games and the mixed messages that are being sent out from it all.
If it all comes to fruition then I am happy to be proven wrong, I'm just not getting excited while a person who claims to not want to do business in the media is trying to do business in the media. When people who make a point of telling about business sales of 208m to get across the point of wealth are now asking for fans to help fund it.
I see that a bit differently to you, he did say at the beginning he was disappointed that the details of his offer and the rejection was leaked to the media.
Since then he has done some articles which basically say we are serious, we have had bids rejected, he is the name of one of the backers. We will give over the names of the rest and proof of funds.
I think if he was having meetings with SISU and doing negotiations you would not see these articles. Fact is SISU are not meeting to him to negotiate or name their price.
Hence the articles.
Regarding the sale of the business that, that particular investor was a director in. I don't think he himself is talking about the £208 million sale. Also all that money won't be his. He is part of a consortium. SISU rejected their last bid so what is wrong with involving fans if that allows a bigger bid?

If they want fans to help fund it, spit the plan out and how much they want and people will get their wallets out. There's no point going in the media selling the dream and trying to get the fans on board with no actual call to action.
I have said all along I want a takeover to happen, I'm just not going to get excited just yet because a PR assault in the telegraph tells me to.
The Trust were not involved till the other day I think you may have to be a bit patient before they ask for your money. Pretty sure when they do ask for your money it will come backed by s plan and a portfolio.
In order for them to do that they need to know what they need to raise first.
The only way that will happen is if SISU sit down and negotiate.
Are you frustrated that SISU will not meet and negotiate with the group?
