Been offered a free ticket for the Wolf Run but have hardly done any training in months and have been bang on the piss for the last month!!

Fuck it, think I still might give it a bash!

Lost nearly a stone, since Christmas

Running twice a week, walking the dog for 90mins everyday

I've cut down on bread, pop and crisps.

Still enjoy a pint though

After a holiday, having an all dayer for Wembley and generally not being on it.

Back on it properly tonight, did a warmup in the gym then circuit training. Absolutely beasted but 1,128 calories down so can't complain.

Just need to get the eating back on track!

If I go to the gym I do treadmill sprints, though my fitness has fallen away so much over the past couple of years. I was doing quick pace intervals of 3 minutes fast, 1 minute slow at one point a few years ago.

mine is 2 min fast 1 min slow and 8 intervals

i have a few. 5 min at fast(but not all out pace) 4 mins rest. repeat 5 times

and on road i like to sprint to 1 lampost wak to other sprint again etc

First park run. Averaged about 5 minutes km. Started last after turning up late but over took loads and finished 434th. Should be able to knock about 100 or so off that fairly easy with a decent starting spot.

So basically after MK Dons away I stopped with my fitness blasting, keeping most of the good habits but basically stopping running and spending more time down the pub since then.

Weighted myself tonight for the first time since mid-March...result though, as have lost an average of 1lb per week since then, amazing really as have been eating rubbish a lot and not exercising. So since I began the NY resolution I've lost 2.5 stone! Happy with that.

Weighed myself today. Hit my target of 12 stone. :woot:. Upped my training again and seeing huge improvements again. Going super clean with my food for a few weeks and then go from there.

Yeah, but cutting one of your legs off is cheating!

Anyway, started running again last week after two years out and a knee op - really missed it - looking to get under 14 st - now where is that saw :nurse:

All the shirts that were on the "Snug" side now fit comfortably and my suit can button up too.

Lost roughly a 18lbs got a few routes for running now which are various lengths

Porridge for breakfast Pitta bread with salad at lunch and soup for dinner 5/6 days a week
And drastically cut back on snacks and beer,
And walking the dog for an 90mins a day

Had a bit of a dip for a month or so. Drinking too much and eating crap.
Back on it for the last week though. Cut out bread and takeaways. Feeling better already.

Need to up my cardio, been concentrating on weights programmes. Trouble I have is lower back pain when I'm running or rowing. I can deadlift 100kg and not feel it, squat 75kg and not feel it, but run for 5 minutes and I'm man down. Ain't got a clue what it is.

Someone I know had this issue, he went somewhere which checked the pressure you put through your feet when running (treadmill type device) found out his hip wasn't aligned properly, few exercises later alleviated the issue

Hips don't lie!

I get back pain too when running on a treadmill but perfectly fine on a cross trainer or grass.

I've had the gait analysis done. It's improved my running loads.

I can fairly happily eat healthily; weetabix/porridge for breakfast, cous cous/sushi/salad for lunch, meat/fish with veg/rice for dinner, it's the drinking that really prevents me from the whole toning aspect.

As much as I would love to have the elusive "beach body" as I did when I was younger (single), I'm not willing to go out, either for a casual afternoon/evening drink or an all dayer, and drink spirits and tonic water. I enjoy ale way too much.

Saying that, if I was to suddenly find myself single, I would probably turn into one of those people who spend every spare minute at the gym.

I had it done too. The trainers I've got make running more difficult than it was before I think! I need more adjustment for one side than the other.

Is untapped worth it then? I downloaded it while I was on holiday over the summer as it was advertised everywhere, but when I got home I didn't really get much from it, so I assumed it was more of an American thing.

I did recently re download it as there's a fantastic tap room in Hinckley (!!!) called Elbow Room and they are on it. Not really used it though.

Back on the circuits tonight, solid hour of cardio and thought I was going to pass out a couple of times but feels good now!

Been hectic so haven't managed to go but hopefully back on it now.

Still going strong with mine. Toned up loads, feel more confident, look better, feel healthier, happier.

Doing 6 classes a week at the gym.

Had a couple of weeks off due to holiday. Has done me good though. Having a break tends to remotivate me, so the past week I've been smashing it. Proper nasty circuit workouts. Completely ruins me.
