Even more so when people will be using it to watch games they wouldn't have seen anyway. ie midweek away games and then going to watch every home game at the Ricoh.

People signing up to listen to games as they did before, also watching full match replays when they get home from games if they wanted to.
I've done this for years via iPlayer, and I do end up listening to most commentaries but any chance of live streaming then I'd be all over it.

im going on holiday for two weeks Friday & so ill be away for first couple of matches. Can't afford / justify paying for the full ifollow subscription having just splashed on a season ticket... if anyone feels like letting me have access via their log in for the first couple of matches, ill bung you £20 via PayPal or something :)

You could just get the normal UK one and when you get back to your hotel watch the game replay in full ;)

On the £4.49 a month one you can:
  • Full match replays*
Not sure how long they stay on for, but you would think a couple of weeks at least.

With the iPlayer it took a couple of days for the 10 min replay to appear, hopefully with ifollow it'll be quicker.

Woooo, hang on a minute!!!
Are we saying that on the uk version I can watch the whole game back as opposed to 10 minutes of highlights?

yes but you have to wait till noon sunday or noon wednesday for midweek games

i am tempted toa void cov scores till then but i am not sure that is possible in 2017! also would be an excruciating wait

Can you not just pay for an individual live match or a weeks access? They're missing a trick if you can't. Plenty of people would do that when they were away and missing a game.

Can do it monthly I think, there is an option for "purchased videos" so it might be something they are planning.

Not sure how they will crack it, it's not like sky where all games are available.

For somebody to stream every game they will need to sign up to every club's ifollow.

Who's encouraging it?

Huh? You are, among several others. (You even gave someone an "idiot's guide" on page 1)

But the club will still benefit financially via ifollow.

So why is the club blocking UK users from watching the live matches?

Honestly, fair play if you want to try and take advantage of the system, but don't try and pretend you're somehow doing the club a favour.

Encouraging that people dont go to games and stream it instead or explaining how a VPN works?

Keep trying......

Again, I will be going to every home game and more away games than ever. If I watch a midweek away game I physically can't go to anyway I'll be paying the club to stream it / watch the full replay back.

I'm sure you'll be shocked - shocked! - to find out some people may use your VPN lessons to watch live games they might otherwise have attended in person.

I'm glad you're planning to be virtuous yourself, but not sure why you're pretending other people will do the same given the option.

It was hardly a VPN lesson was it, it was just saying that you can disconnect from a VPN when you need to on a device. If I really wanted to I could provide a video from start to finish on how to do it, where to sign up and how to configure devices, then you may have a point. If I really wanted to go all out to encourage people not to go I could setup a server in America and then stream every game for everybody else, I'm not doing that either.

Keep trying your best though to be able to have a dig at me though... It's getting a bit desperate.

If I want to know how to do something I go on Google and YouTube. I wouldn't try to remember what someone said on a thread or spend time looking for it.

I could have been brutal with where it linked to, those days are over tricking people to click a link where a man waves his willy round, "im gay" coming out of the speakers and the keyboard and mouse disabled. It was like rick rolling, but "dick rolling".

Just add the link onto a misleading title and sit back and giggle.

Don't get precious, I wasn't calling anyone out in particular. I just think it's a bit off to openly encourage people to game the system so they can watch from home at a time when we need as many people in the stands as possible.
Indeed, perhaps stop trying to be a WUM and folks won't get so precious, as you put it. Bums on seats is indeed what the majority want, but the club do get a cut of iFollow too.

Tell you what though, I'd take meatspin and tubgirl over all the cuck/libtard/triggering bollocks people drone on endlessly about online now.

Seems a more innocent time, which is admittedly a weird thing to say about a girl projectile shitting in a bath and a big spinning penis
