Just today my wife and I were both abused by someone shouting "Chinks" while we were on our way to hospital. It seems ok to shout racist abuse against Chinese who have done nothing against UK citizens. But if someone points out the obvious fascism within Islam, they are labelled a racist. Previously I have been shouted down on here for pointing out that Islam is a fascist ideology. People in the UK need to get real and understand that foreigners are not the enemy unless they happen to be extremist Muslims.

Good and bad in every Race, good and bad in every Religion, how can you pick up An entire Ideology
and label it Fascist, attitude's like this create fear, mistrust and ultimately nothing good.

There's nothing to get. Your views are offensive. Call them whatever you like if it makes you feel better. Still despicable.

Saying violence is legitimised in the Quran is lazy. Assume you've just found some out of context quotes on your favourite Islamaphobe website. What happened to your friends is wrong and against the teachings of Islam. It's like any religion, if you choose to twist it you can legitimise all sorts of despicable behaviour, it's happened throughout history with Christianity - which I assume you think is a violent religion too.

For what it's worth, I'm not a fan of religion. I don't believe in a God or any other mystical being. The majority of wars throughout history have been as a result of the misinterpretation of religious teachings and that is what is happening with Islam. People with sick intentions are misinterpreting to suit their own sick agenda - killing people who are different.

According to that logic the entire ideology of Nazism cannot be labeled as Fascist which clearly is stupid.

And before you say that Islam cannot be compared to Nazism, please note that the Koran contains more anti Semitic passages than Hitler's Mein Kampf. You need to read the Koran and Hadith before reaching an informed conclusion. And yes I have read them, along with Mein Kampf. Both are hateful and do not belong in a civilized society.

My views are offensive? Really? I would have thought you would be more offended by a religion whose holy texts advocate:
1. Execution of homosexuals
2. Execution of apostates and atheists
3. The genocide of Jews
4. The denial of basic human rights to women (e.g., a woman's testimony is worth half that of a man, a daughter gets to inherit half what a son does).

Not it's not. It's based on my reading of the Koran and Hadiths (I suspect you haven't read them). It's also based on the experiences of my ex-Muslim friends who have been threatened with murder due to their decision to leave the faith. It's also based on my life experience half of which has involved working and living in Asia, including two Muslim countries. Let's be honest, you just don't have that kind of knowledge do you?

Yes it's wrong. No it's not against the teachings of Islam (assuming that "Islam" is based upon what is written in the Koran, where it clearly states that apostates should be murdered). This is not just a theoretical possibility. Many apostates have been murdered this year in countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. BTW, I am not claiming that every Muslim country executes apostates, nor am I claiming that every Muslim believes apostates should be murdered. I am simply pointing out that the Koran supports their murder and hardline Muslims are acting upon those passages in the Koran.

No my opinions are based on a reading of the Koran, the hadiths, my experiences in Muslim countries, and the stories relayed to me by former Muslims. In fact, one of my friends, Hashim Almadani has a youtube site where he talks about these issues. Hashim is an Iraqi who lived in Baghdad during the US invasion and who now lives in Barcelona (he supports Barca).

Christianity was extremely violent a few centuries ago. I agree with you if you are comparing Islam today with where Christianity was centuries ago during the inquisitions.

It's not a misinterpretation though. And you would know that if you actually read the Koran or if you listened to people like Hashim Almadani or Ayaan Hirsi Ali (among many others). I would like to know your qualifications for interpreting the Koran as you seem to know what the correct interpretation ought to be.

The final sentence of that article says that Islam is BOTH a religion of violence and a religion of peace. Which kind of contradicts the title which claims that Islam is NOT a religion of violence. You might want to actually read the articles before posting them.

That's true, especially if you are referring to Christianity as it was a few centuries ago. Hopefully Islam can go through the same kind of reformation that Christianity went through. However, that's unlikely if politicians adopt the same attitude as you that Islam does not need a reformation.
