We all know politicians spout bullshit on all sides. The issue for me is that with the £350m a week claim you had something that had been debunked that was still being pushed bigtime. This wasn't someone saying something in an interview when put on the spot. It was plastered all over the bus.
Personally I can't think of a bigger, more often repeated, lie in any political campaign.
You just hit the nail squarely on the head...it's all about Germany isn't it?What would be those terms? Germany is in the centre of Europe surrounded by borders. Germany has 2 options. 1. have the mightiest army in Europe to protect itself and secure it's trade. Done that. Didn't go down too well. Or 2. be in the same club as it's European neighbors and trade peacefully.
2 works. Germany needs the EU. It needs a strong EU preferably including Britain. Any "terms" would be for the benefit of the EU - which we were part of.
Many here think that Germany prefers number 1. it doesn't.
And they always get it right don't they? The 'experts'..?The IFS predict a £20 - 40bn hole in government finances as a result of brexit over the next few years. Are you suggesting we just rack that up as more debt or will there be further cuts and / or tax rises?
None of which has anything whatsoever to do with BrexitNo concerns about increased tension between Russia and America, or North Korea firing off missles, or the issues with the Iran nuclear deal?
One...a single personsome brexit campaigner just said the BoEs figures are a condpiracy between the boe, the cbi and the treasury- haha! imagine if a remainer said that about statistics that didnt fit their agenda!
Anyone hear the chap on Radio 4 getting all worked up about his fruit farm going out of business because his entire workforce are from the EU and will disappear. He voted leave!
Because he's only had one British employee in years and he left after a day. His entire workforce is from the EU and if freedom of movement ends they would be classed as unskilled workers and not allowed in.How does he know? Why would they go?

Notice how @Grendel seemed to miss this one?
So Herr Bartels is talking leave bullshit.
Somehow I doubt Kim Jong Ill has suddenly decided to become a despot as we've left Europe
Todays gem, another shining example of us taking back control:every day a new complication comes out.
Your post mentioned Germany 5x, Britain 1x...25 countries left. Heavily slanted toward what will do Germany nicely. There are 27 other countries. So, no it's not all about Germany Nigel...
AbsolutelyYes, a bit like Herr Bartels saying he thinks a European army is inevitable.
Nope. Dont trust any of the fuckers whatsoever. I have to place more trust in British politicians though as they are all I can loosely affect or influence.Has a lot to do with a possible united EU military or a EU army at some future time. Do you trust Trump ( connections with the Russian Mob through money laundering ), or Putin ( connections with corrupt Oligarchs and the Russian Mob )? Or Merkel, a german scientist, who's partner is a scientist and has no connections to any mob?
That is an insult to Brexit voters' intelligence...& I bet some of them would intellectually tie you up in knotsMore often than Brexit voters... who still don't know what they voted for as every day a new complication comes out.

And you can only say no 'known' connections to any mob. Some would argue the EU is simply a legalised mob though

If Britain had managed to shape it - it wouldn't look or operate as it does now. Britain has merely had a token restraining influence imo. Romania & Bulgaria might still be outside of the EU. There would probably be no Euro, & nonesense of shifting from Strasbourg to Brussels would have been stopped.
A legalised mob that Britain has shaped and is part of?

We don't know really 'how many'. The ones that shout loudest the messages the media wants/need to stir things up into controversy & varying degrees of hysteria are the ones that get heard. Most others say little or nothing with much real passion or conviction.yep a quote from one that encapsulates the attitude of so many.
I personally couldnt be 100% sure if britain is performing so poorly in a time of a fairly strong global economy because of brexit or just because of financial mis management by the tories.
either way i only voted renain because i had no daith in tbose clowns and that seems to be the xase.
Because he's only had one British employee in years and he left after a day. His entire workforce is from the EU and if freedom of movement ends they would be classed as unskilled workers and not allowed in.
Whilst experts make mistakes, they tend to get things right more often than untrained amateurs with an opinion. And they always get it right don't they? The 'experts'..?
Funny I've not seen any confirmation. If you said "if" anyone who is already in his workforce wants to stay they can. If they are here legally then why can't or wouldn't they stay?
Afterwards when freedom of movement ends then fine I take that point but there is plenty of unskilled people in this country already. He can take his pick.
Also on a side point if it did turn out we have a major unskilled shortage like in his business what's to stop us a country going and plucking some unskilled workers from the world? That's the point. We get to decide and from where and on what terms.
Exactly. He said he'd had one English worker in the last few years and he'd only lasted a day. The issue is the work is seasonal so they all go back to their home country out of season and often its a different group who come over to replace them so the 'they are already here they'll be allowed to stay' theory doesn't apply.I think the farmer was complaining that unskilled British workers won't do the jobs in the fields that EU Eastern Europeans will do
RBS announced plans to move some operations to Amsterdam today.
some operations? you mean a European wing of 150 people so the can operate within the EU, while its headquarters stays in Edinburgh. RBS have operations in the USA does that mean they are moving to the us now because of brexit?
Yep. Liquid Gold is joining in on the Brexit lies and Sick boy is liking the lies.
