you do wonder why they (whoever "they" are) didn't trial this with a pre season game to ensure everyone who wanted to be ready for this game could have been

They keep displaying random codes on the screen, I guess like Sky to see which account is sharing it.

Works fine for me on the iPad using the App. The Grimsby camera work is all over the place though. Why does he keep panning over the crowd?

Nick, what we should do is set something up where we take it in turns to pay, and stream it for other payers. But use different accounts so if 1 gets banned we can use another a week later. Could have a forum just for us payers. I don't know if it's possible but I definitely would be willing to dip my hand in my pockets to pay to view the away games I'm not attending

But surely if you set it up so it's effectively private, and you can only get access by being a paid member. I don't know anything about computers so...

I don't understand the benefit of this? Do you mean just one person pays at a time and everyone else sees a stream? Don't you feel like that's cheating the club out of money?
I think we should pay if we are watching it. Happy to provide the money to enjoy watching the game from the comfort of my own home (in France/some other overseas location of course ;) )

Yes, one person pays at a time. It's not taking money from the club, it's like when you stream a game that's shown live on sky, the club have received the money from sky, it's then down to sky to get customers for it.

Not true.

"Advertising revenue from the live streams will benefit the league, but the subscription model works through each club’s site and so they receive the revenue for their subscriptions and will stand to benefit from the audience data around the broadcasts that can be used in other parts of the marketing mix."

I hate being proved wrong. In that case I'm willing to pay for the service then.

Tbf, the clubs website stopped me from making payment earlier. :angelic:
Haha I know same!! The site and app definitely needs some fine tuning.

There is no commentary btw, but you can open a new tab and play the audio/radio. Just have to play around pausing the video from a split second to let the radio stream catch up

I hope those watching via Youtube yesterday have a VPN installed. A recent European court case makes it illegal to watch streamed copyright material. If they ask Youtube for all IP address connected to the content I'm sure they would oblige.
