Maddison (8 Viewers)

Not sure Aberdeen fans would agree. They loved him up there. IMO he'll play PL football, if not with Norwich then someone will take a punt on him if he holds down his starting place at Norwich this year. Attacking centre mids are hard to come by, he's worth a punt at £5M to a PL team I feel.
Not really, he had good moments and some very average ones.

Kid they have on loan from Celtic is twice the player

Chris Anderson: Maddison deal will benefit club over the long-term

“A selling club like us at the moment can stand to make significant amounts of money if James becomes the footballer we think he’s going to become.

"That’s money that doesn’t just come today; it’s significant money that will keep coming and will contribute to the health of the football club over the medium term because these things are structured to run over three, four, five years, by which time I know James will be an established Premier League footballer

ill take that as a no

Alright...

Top 6 or very close. We will challenge again

No ding dong

I just think signs of positivity are there. Just need a lil bit more time. Few wins on trot and climb table in no time. It's only September. I hope tm stays.

Give him another full season and see where we finish. Won't be anywhere near relegation zone I assure you

Also, I found this jem from you on Slade:

although he seems to follow up great seasons with average ones. could be lots of factors in that though[/QUOTE]

The thing is though, and this has the danger of opening a big can of worms, the Scottish prem is appalling quality wise. It is about League 1 standard alone (Turnbull, Bigi, O'Brien, Rose are all playing there).

Not having a go here but you're another one with misguided conceptions of Scottish football. SPL is IMHO at least mid to top end Championship or lower EPL.

Reminded me of my favourite ever SBKism!

My next door neighbour is a Dons fan, he says they loved him, and wanted to keep him for the full season. Gutted when he left. To be fair, scoring the winning goal against the blue noses did no harm. It is early days for Maddison, only two games in and therefore too early to draw firm conclusions (just like our start to the season). I think most City fans will wish him well, and hope we benefit from a sell on clause in due course.

He was left out a but as well. Still if you say so skip
That doesn't mean he isn't a talent or that he won't develop into a good player.

No but it means he was utter dog shit for us when he came back on loan.

He wasn't only coming back to us on loan, he was also coming back from a serious injury,
Only young and I think the injury scarred him mentally as well as physically,

So exactly what i said earlier. I still stand by that. Had mowbray stayed we wouldnt have been relegated imo. There is no way i would write season off 10 games into season. He let me.down by leaving as we never got to see how it would have panned out that season. And like i also said earlier i expected a challenge under him. Nothing new here

Pas for slade someone had done a post bigging him up, of course that made me optimistic, i wanted alade to do well.obciously. only after i saw us play did i develop hatred for his tactics

Im sure you fevishly typed away on that post you thought you were onto a zinger. Sorry i had to dismantle it.

I've given you a like because even though I disagree with your post that last line is a beauty!
For what it's worth, if Mowbray had stayed the season would have panned out the same, relegation, only with less hoof ball and more directionless tippy tappy.
