Ok let’s end the argument

Biamou 0 goals 0 assists in the league this season .

There is no argument to be had

Mate he scored 10 and assisted 10 .
Genuine quality from a wide man

Biamou has absolutely no quality that we need , not one and I’m confident he will score less than 5 all season.

Mcnulty doesn’t feed off biamou I have No clue where this comes from , his best chances today other than his goal came from bayliss

Biamou produced some great touches today and dragged players away from McNulty.

In terms of Murphy, he had undoubtable quality, but in the second half of the season he didn't turn up in many games.

I'd love to see the stats of the goals scored by McNulty when alongside Biamou and those when he's played Duck.

Biamou created two goals at Luton in 10 minutes.

Well I disagree totally , I actually want him to score ,I want him to produce but the open goal miss against Wycombe pretty much sums him up .
It’s a level too high and he is not good enough to make the step up

I thought it was a better performance from Biamou but my word he is still rubbish its lucky his competition is the equally useless Beavon.

Burge 6
Grimmer 6
Stokes 7
Davies 8 my mom does everything simply he just heads it and kicks it nothing fancy
Willis 8
Doyle 5 we play in blue
Bayliss 8
Dke 5
Shipley 5 played too many games needs a rest
McNulty 8
Biamou 5 I’m feeling generous after a win

Ponticelli 6
Haynes 10 magical performance just for Grendel but seriously 5

How did he create two goals? One was a direct goal from a free kick.

Do you not think mcnulty is scoring more as we don’t obsessively play it wide now to Jones and play more to his strengths , mcnulty needs to receive the ball central and usually on the floor .
Not only does mcnulty look better then but so do the team , when we adopted long ball tactics today mcnulty went missing because that’s not his game .

Sorry, but that's a bit of a daft argument. McNulty has benefited from Biamou alongside him.

I agree Biamou needs to be scoring, but you can't judge a player on simply goals alone.

Football doesn't work that way I'm afraid.

I do think he does need to be scoring too though.

He hasn’t benefited at all from him. His goals are mostly created from balls through the middle or his own ability to create from little.

I’ll tell you how football works - statistics. They don’t lie. No goals and no assists in nearly half a season for a centre forward.

Burge. 6. Didn't have much to do but his kicking seems to be improving. Puts his kicks right on the opposition defence and keeps pressure on.

Grimmer. 6.5.

Willis. 6.

Davies. 7. Solid. I think McDonald should fight for his place back. Davies shouldn't be dropped to allow him straight back in. Stepped up when needed and helped keep 2 clean sheets!

Stokes 6.5.

Doyle. 5.5. Far from his best game today. Dug in and put the effort in but his passing was all over the place. Very out of character.

Bayliss. 8. Breath of fresh air. Breaks up play in the middle Well, drives with the ball putting defenders on the back foot. Same as Davies, when Kelley is fit again will have his work cut out to regain his shirt.

Shipley. 6.5. Looked like he was running in quicksand towards the end. Looked vert tired and shows the effects of so many games in such a period has on players.

DKE. 5.5. Was up against a unit of a LB. Add to that his lack of match sharpness and confidence and today wasn't his best day at the office!

McNulty. 7. Proving all the boo boys wrong. I don't think it's any coincidence that since JJ got injured and the Duck benched, he's started scoring. He's finally starting to get some service and is reaping the rewards.

Biamou. 7. I love his work rate and he reads the game very well. Gets into some great positions and works for the cause. But......... how much longer can he go without a bloody goal?!?!

Ponticelli. 7. Chased down their defenders and bought a shit tonne of energy to the game.

Haynes. N/A didn't really see much of the ball when he came on. Can't really comment.

Put the ball through for the sending off/free kick and put the ball through for Duck.

So that’s an assist officially is it?

You are correct , 1 assist v Luton.
I’ve attended all but 1 game this season and I’m still struggling to see what biamou offers

Brilliant in the 93rd minute against a defeated team.

I just don’t think he’s good enough , and I can’t understand this fanbase and their love for players who try over their love for players with ability .

It’s weird and a result of years of failure

Mcnulty has had more stick this season than biamou , far more stick , and he’s got 12 goals

We have looked a better side when Biamou has been up front for the most part and have been rather lost when he has either not played or been taken off.

Good job we're not all Crewe supporters. Charlie Kirk, a striker there, scored his first goal in 49 matches the other week.

This place would have been in meltdown for the previous 48.

Thete is too much made of assists , it’s still down to the player to score else the stat assist could go the other way when the person does not score, it’s somthing those two chimps of Sky sports invented before they got sacked and I hope it goes away , any old flick on does not equal an assist. Ask any manager they will agree . You cannot play someone based on assists , people are played and selected on how they have or could create a win or change a game or in Biamou case there is no one else, we could go through the whole team as well like Burge who is doubtful at best , I still panic every time he has the ball . Just like everyone else.

But as I have said, it is not a love. I am sure there are loads of people like me who are not even fans of Biamou.

I clearly am not.

It's well known I like Beavon, but I have said there that he needs to be contributing or scoring. When Beavon plays it doesn't work. He's not scoring and not contributing. Biamou has been contributing.

I would most definitely be looking to bring some better in though. I clearly don't love him.

Just honest enough to praise him when he does have a good game.

I think the argument is that mcnulty is scoring because he’s playing off biamou , which is not true

Anyway it’s difficult to argue here about this , I have stats totally on my side , sitters missed almost every game to back up my opinion .
Hopefully he proves me wrong and chips in with the goals

WITH Biamou.

We look a better side with him. Without him balls are just sailing over players' heads.

Not going to argue anymore.

I stand by Biamou deserving the applause today and also stand by my notion he had a good game.

I am very quick to criticise him when he doesn't.

Biamou could go past 49 games easily he doesn’t get into the right positions same as Beavon I will be stunned If the two of them got 3 goal between them this season.

THought we played better football when he went off today ,difficult to judge as they had 10 men

Biamou does have one attribute in that he often finds himself in positions and I emphasise find, which totally baffle everyone including his own team, the goal which was disallowed at Carlisle is more proof of that as he did not realise he was offside, on the other spin re watch the pen that mcnulty missed two of their players were there to kick it away when he should have thrown himself in behind mcnulty if he scores or not . These are the things that make the difference , this is the difference why someone like Biamou against McNulty stands out as if was the other way McNulty would have been there .

I find that totally laughable.

Doyle and DKE were much, much, much worse. By a country mile!!!

They weren’t - name one positive contribution he made today?

Watch the highlights.

He showed some lovely touches in that first half and one in particular stood out when he brought the ball down really well and slid a lovely ball through to Shipley, but Shipley overran it.

I think what’s worrying about DKE apart from his physicality which he try’s to make up.

His sense of positioning today was woefull. I’m assuming he has played wide right most his career? Was at times like running around like a headless chicken.

Don’t want to focus on negatives today. He wasn’t that bad as he did do his best and did some good things...didn’t give the ball away as much, but his shooting was woefull again for a forward minded player.
