What do you think I'm on about?

There was a debate about the importance of an LGBT supporters group and the posts have since been removed. Discussing issues like inclusivity in football are more important than having 6 threads about when Biamou will score. I was expressing my frustration at an important topic being censored.

Hope that's ok with you.
Surely if you start a thread people will take a decision to discuss or not. Some threads take off some don’t. Try it and see what happens, I doubt they have been deleted but probably moved

Have posts been removed? I’m not aware they have.

Speaking of censorship, I don't appear to be able to reply to Coventry Observer twitter although I can read it.
I assume they must have blocked everyone who is blocked from Les Reid's twitter.

I'm also blocked by Ms Garlick.. must have said something they object to,
I am never out and out rude (well maybe occasionally to RFC, Grendull & Nick but v. rarely).

Having read the posts that have been moved I’m struggling to see why they needed to be moved. There’s been an inclusion of a LGBT supporters group into the new version of the SCG. Surely the discussion is completely relevant to this thread so therefore no need to move it.

I will take the role of pantomime villain from that strange bloke also why do the London followers get a member but the nuneaton ones don’t they should have no more say than any other fan group
Is there a Nuneaton fan club? If there is I will certainly join as a resident(even in exile) of that lovely annexe to the wonderful city of Coventry.

I have no idea I am a resident and it was the first place that came to mind just before bedrock but in the terms of Coventry supporters no less important than London

They got moved to the lgbt thread as it was the exact same discussion pretty much and the need for an lgbt group and lgbt in general.

Aside from that discussion, they couldn't be left out of this new fans forum I don't think.

If you going to start moving posts because the same subject is being discussed on another thread we’re going to end up with one thread ;)

Just don’t get why it needed doing given that it was relevant to the new supporters group. Seems to me it’s split the discussion in two.

(edit) also the LGBT thread seems to be morphing into a thread about the supporters group now.

I had a thought that they should have a lapsed fan representative, to understand why people aren’t coming, but then I realised they probably wouldn’t turn up...

you jest but it's probably not a bad idea. Get someone who was a ST holder but who has lapsed in the last couple of years.

I don't want any of you pricks representing me ;)
A'hem! We got invited along and was speaking with Ty Scope the other night but I felt that a warning shot was fired by the club which poured cold water on the whole thing. It was suggested that the owners were not to be talked about at meetings. Make of that what you will.

Since the owners are, like it or not, important to the club, I don't see how this new SCG can avoid talking about them sometimes. Maybe it will just be a pointless talking shop like the last incarnation of the SCG.

The SCG is just supposed to be about matchday issues isn't it? That's where things went wrong last time, there was too much focus on the owners and not the things that could actually be done to improve the matchday experience.

It's not rocket science to understand how that happened is it?

In theory yes but they had Jonathan Strange running it which made it a political group which didn’t allow free expression

Why isn't there a fan rep for bald people. It's bloody discrimination I tell you.
If people want to vote for me I can commit more time than other people as i don't have to attend any hairdressing appointments at all.
