Barrett and jmd to start hopefully. If kelly fitvperhaps with with a 3 in middle with bayliss permission to go forward much more as a hybrid 10. If not biamou and mcnuktt upfront again

1-0 win mcnulty

I’d take a draw. They’ve got the best away record in this division by far. But, I’m hoping that the emotional occasion of Cyrille’s passing gives the team that boost to go out and win it. It’d be a massive 3pts.

If it were me, I’d probably start McDonald and Davies at centre back to deal with their physical and direct forwards. I’d get Barrett on the left, and Maguire-Drew on the right.

Hopefully a better ref than we're used to this year. From the offal:

Stephen Martin will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash against the Swindon in Sky Bet League Two.

This season, Martin has officiated in:

21 Championship games

3 EFL Cup games

1 League One game

1 League Two game

3-1 sky blues. Biamou to score the first just as chants of Cyrille, Cyrille, Cyrille echo round the stadium in the 9th minute. Mcnulty and Barrett to complete the scoring for city.

Biamou to score within the first 10 minutes would get you some amazing odds. You would be taking over the club with that.

Two teams relegated last season from League One, who with more than half the current League Two season gone, find themselves level on 44 points but outside even the play-off places. Both teams should be doing better, especially apparently Swindon who, in a League Two Jose Mourinho-esque moment, Mark Robbins has ludicroulsy claimed have 'eight or nine million pounds worth of players' at their disposal. But then again, they have Reece Charles Cook in goal, so that should level things up. Let's be honest, we struggle to score, we've lost Nazon and haven't yet replaced him, we play Biamou as a striker, and ignoring the FA Cup game against Stoke, who ever we play in the league, we make hard work out of winning at home. Fingers-crossed we score first and their nine million pound man has an off day. Apparently Swindon will have near enough 1,000 fans, and Coventry numbers may well be boosted out of respect for Cyrille Regis, so an optimistic 8,000 - 8,500. 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, 0-1, 2-1, 1-2, 2-2, who knows?

Cos I like to, always use capitals for I singular and at start of words never in middle of words like middle and like.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too.
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise

RCC will probably have a blinder and at some point of the game, come rushing out of his goal, dribble past 8 City players and then do a bicycle kick from 30 yards out that beats Burge with ease and rockets into the top corner to win the game for the roundabout people.

Weather forecast today is for rain for several hours and a maximum of 2°.

Not going to do the pitch much good is it. Going to be worse than ever I think.

Wouldn’t surprise me. He will be the best keeper on the pitch after all.

Big match a loss could see us tumble down further and while not much of a points gap may be psychologically damaging. Struggling to see a win so will take 1-1

We tumbled down last night, albeit just the one place. Newport won to overtake us.

We're down to 9th.

This is a very important game. Lose and we will fall into mid-table and Swindon leap frog us.

Swindon have done some decent business in this window.

I can't see us beating them based on our dismal performance last week. I hope I'm wrong and the boys deliver an exceptional performance.

Concern is if we lose today, next week some rival teams will have league games while we are away in the cup and we could be even more points behind.

Some good points made in the last few post.
Lose today and we will drop to 10th and unless we get hammered and Colchester convincingly beat Grimsby we'd drop to 11th and with a cup game the following weekend a mini gap could appear especially from the auto spots.

Nothing that cannot be rectified but a gap nevertheless. That's gonna test the mental strength of MR and his team, will they use that as a catalyst to finally kick on and be more clinical and dominant as a side.

Secondly the rain, the pitch is already in poor condition and with further rain forecast up till kick off by the time the warm ups done it will be cutting up.

Really not confident today just like i wasnt before Exeter game, Strange really as we have bee playing well generally since Chrltenham at Home.

We have won our last 5 at home! Including the fa cup games.

Would settle fir a draw and i dont usually say that,as i know we will improve in comings weeks.
