The clock is ticking again Robins... (13 Viewers)

Maybe Robins should learn to rotate his squad slightly, especillaly playing 2 games in 4 days, as fatigue seemed to be a big issue today. It’s not like we played that well against Newport.
Davies, Stokes, Biamou, should have all started today
Twice FGR and Yeovil have outwitted us now which is alarming. Bad mentality, over confident, bad preparation???

Nick make this a sticky because everytime we lose a game it will be back.
Then make another for every time we win.

Why didn't he use Shipley from the bench ?
I don't understand using Barrett .

What would Shipley bring to a game we’re trailing by 2-3 goals? Barrett had a really good chance to score off a brilliant first touch, followed by a disappointing finish.

He’s also left footed meaning the only player he could really replace was Reid. Who frankly, was probably our ‘best’ player aside from Biamou.

Such soft goals. Players take the rap for this
Yep. All down to the players today.

MR was right to sub Vincenti and I agreed with the Barrett for Haynes decision too. We very nearly got right back in the game at one point, so I don't think we can blame Robins.

My guess is that if Baker had got match fit he would have been in today ahead ofr Vincenti on the wing.

We are all dissapointed , the result today was avoidable, if we get spanked by NC then we will see.

It’s up to the Messiah MR to get a result now at County , he has brought this on himself to get the result, no amount of excuses will do , a pathetic attempt of promotion where we die in a ditch is not acceptable .

Don't get people too excited with the baker myth

if you can’t get your team up for a must win home match against another, yes another lower league team, then you’re not wanted here.
No top seven finish or you’re out son!!

Must agree, we lost it the way we started. And I’m not talking about three individual errors. It was comical.

The way we sat back, was horrendous.

Not sure you can blame Robins for individual errors.

If he’s have made 4 or 5 changes to the team he’d have been hammered for changing a side that had been doing well.

It wasn’t the individual errors. The way we started barring them, not marking them , no crunching tackles, no energy, no drive, no commitment, no fucking nothing.

You cannot start a game like that!

Truly the worst defensive display I have seen from us EVER! And that’s saying something.

Hyam is truly an awful defender. Has nothing for him.

My issue with Robins all season has been Vincenti. He's barely had one good game out wide since the day he arrived. It was an issue at the start of the season and it is an issue now.

Vincenti would be useful to bring on as a centre forward to launch the ball to with 5 minutes to go.

I’m surprised you don’t think he’s immense

Tad harsh on Hyam. It was only the previous game people were saying what a quality signing he was.

He is a quality signing, one for the future.

But ther3 no way on earth he should be playing ahead of Davies. Or for that matter ahead of Willis. Not in a million years!

He stayed in the team even though Willis was fit few weeks back.

It would appear that you couldn’t wait for a result like this, so (as Hill has highlighted), you could press send on your prepared post.

Nobody can disguise the disappointment of today’s result, but some posters are not exactly measured in their responses. Players who were heroes in the last few games are now less than zero after one, admittedly, very poor performance. We had probably left ourselves too much to do to reach the auto’s, the test for our season will be whether we can finish in the play off positions.

Maybe if he played like Biamou did in that game when he was actually immense.

Robins needs to be assesed at the end of the season, not before. Anyone know how long he is contracted for?

I would not make any knee jerk reactions off a back of a loss. As unacceptable as today was.

Only if he took his lead boots off and actually jumped off the ground

Instead of Barrett for Haynes it should have been Shipley. Then instead of Reid sitting back as a midfielder alongside Doyle he could have pushed on and Shipley could have sat, then we would have been better defensively but still have the change of formation.

Let's hope that this result does not spook MR into becoming overly negative. We've looked at our best this season when we've looked to go forward with intent.

As for those calling for the manager to be sacked after 1 loss in 8 and when we're in the POs, don't stay up past your bedtime.

Robins gets one more season if we don’t go up IMO .
Most sides don’t crack it first time , we are not special , although I believe we should be doing slightly better than we have this season , not by a lot , we’ve lost a good few against real poor sides

Was a bit down after the game. So I tried to think of reasons to smile. Was only one. Bets that I put on the game cost me less than a fiver but pulled in over £50 for me. But really struggled for something else.

Then I found this thread. It certainly has cheered me up. So a manager and team that have just gone 7 games unbeaten are now crap and need replacing?

Yeah right. Nearly everything went the way of Yeovil. Nearly everything went against us.

Thanks for the laugh.
