That link was from the same person with the fake news, so I am not going to repost the link.

However the FA website is showing Michael Bostwick as still banned.

This is testament to who we are these days that there is this nervousness.

We have by far the best stadium in the league to play in, the biggest support, and one of the best managers at this level.
We are at home. The playoff's beckon.
If you were a Lincoln supporter, then you would be nervous for sure. A Coventry supporter should be rubbing their hands in glee!

If the players don't turn up for this one then they don't deserve anything.

I think tonight is important as a win, and could pave the way for not having to go to Exeter in the pla

wont be less than Friday as Lincoln are bringing 3000+
that means 6000 ccfc fans to beat friday

a similar number of cov fans would push the crowd to between 11 and 12 000

That wouldn’t be a bad turn out. As I live away from cov now it’s slightly difficult for me to gauge the excitement levels in the city. Are people starting to talk about coming back at all?
I can confirm the excitement levels in casa dactyl are at 11. One of the symptoms of this is half hourly checks of the league table...what’s that about?

I don’t see why. It’s likely one in four of the people there will be from Lincoln. The big stadium often is a huge negative as the atmosphere is often poor. I don’t think we have the biggest support either.

I don’t think any club is worried about playing at the Ricoh and never have. The players through the years have rarely trained on it and I think it’s a handicap if anything.

I am of a similar position. The big game tag adds to the spice of the tie for generating interest and selling tickets. Two play off hopefuls going toe to toe.

In reality what it does is feeds the negative aspect of the fan base should we lose tonight by ordering taxi’s and calling for MR to be sacked or hammering academy players.

6 pts to play for ourselves after tonight is the biggest fact that will remain come 10pm while also 3pts to the good over Mansfield.

Yup agree mate.

If we win today. I think one eye will be clearly on 3rd place. As we will have practically sealed play offs.

Agree with you, the Ricoh is tainted in all sorts of ways. That said, our home record this season is pretty decent.

Once I win this £120m on the Euromillions tonight, I'll be embarking on the new stadium project!

Nah not strange at all, Mcdonald apart from 2 howlers one which wasnt completely his fault. I dont remember the third howler recently? Do enlighten us?

Willis for me is the best defender at the club agree there. But his distribution is still awfull. Rod is easily the most comfortable on the ball of them.

In a way we are very lucky to have 3 very good central defenders all with very much different attributes. When someones been injured the others have stepped up.

I just don't get why you'd think Davies is an option over Willis - given recent form, McDonald's place is slightly better than precarious. His mistake v Stevenage was a very poor goal to give away. As for the Yeovil game, the whole defence broke down, but, I felt his defending was poor for goals two and five in particular. For the second, had he stayed on his man, the chance is certainly a lot harder to score and for the fifth, he missed a headed clearance - but both he and Reid lost their men. He was also caught in two minds for their 6th where he was going to press, then didn't and the man laid their striker in under little pressure. I'm not going to single him out because I think the whole defensive unit collectively had a meltdown that day.

Just a bit of light humour.

That was a game most came down to L2 reality, and sides would come without fear and sit deep for the first half of the season to nullify our threat.

We do have the biggest support in the sense we have the highest league 2 home average this season which is likely to increase further with the two remaining games we have likely to be decent attendances. We have the best home average, despite it being our worst home average in something like 60 years. A sad reflection on where we are.

It's irrelevant though, especially when the ground is largely empty. I don't buy the atmosphere thing though, it's bollocks frankly. The atmosphere at just about every league 2 ground I have visited this season has been shite. The Ricoh is often no exception - although games like Notts County, Wycombe, Luton, Stevenage were all decent - certainly better than anything I have experienced away from home.

I do agree teams don't fear the place. If anything, despite it being division 4 and largely empty, many players will see it as the biggest stage to play on in this league and will raise their game.

Don't like the Ricoh, never will, but our home record is such that it is clearly not much of a handicap.

I know "this is a big game" is bandied about all the time so it has become pretty mundane and meaningless, but this is a big game.

Good (although old) news.

The referee that sent Bostick off (soft red) also awarded Lincoln a very soft penalty. (This is all from the Lincoln fans point of view).

If the red card is rescinded, they should have the penalty kick taken off them too.

Apparently the ref from their game on Saturday is the 4th Official should be interesting

Still not sure how it can be? He was the last man through on goal and had 2 arms on him and pulled him back so he could then run in front of him. Yes it's a yellow if he isn't the last man and a foul.

Just flash your Wasps car sticker and I am sure you will be let off ;) ;) ;)

Agreed. I feel like the winner from tonight will all but secure their top 7 finish, the loser will be battling it out with Mansfield for the other spot. I know that even if we lose tonight play offs is still achievable, but I'd like to win tonight and have it comfortable. Not a last day of the season finger biter.

Somebody from the FA is clearly having a laugh. I will be watching the interaction with Danny Cowley with interest.

In all fairness, he shouldn't be there. Will liven things up though.
