30k ? Long way off that (12 Viewers)

They weren't more streetwise last night and they didn't like it. They couldn't bully us like they did in the last game.

It would be like Lincoln fans moaning about somebody playing long ball against them.

I am not bothered about the crowd numbers, only the score at the end of two games.
For those who criticize Notts County's style of play, get a grip!
They are more streetwise that us, better suited to Division 4 football and if that gets them to Wembley then good luck to them.
more streetwise? have a nap mate

I think City have pulled a fast one with the attendance.

The game against Morecambe we had over 15k and Notts brought way more fans. They opened up a lot more of the ‘Jimmy Hill giant canvas’ Side too.

Looked around 20k tbh

Hmm maybe didn’t count cash buyers.... I wonder why (<cough>sharing gate receipts..)

SISU doing something dodgy financially, surely not??

Surprised at the crowd after some were going on about a sell out . Still decent crowd though and some noise created . Would of took a draw at the start of the game . So even will laughable penalty , will take that result . As for your guy at the back . Will be amazed if he doesn’t get banned . Stupid thing to do when live on tv .

But hey ho. Onwards to Friday

30k was never realistic.

Unfortunately these days people have plans. And when you factor in we get a weeks notice it's Saturday evening kick off doesnt help. So over 14000 home fans is impressive. Add the fact. We sold over 4000 tickets to your place midweek. Theres only so much disposable income.

Alot are saving it for Wembley.

There are a lot of thick people on the internet

Oh by the way the correct spelling YOU’RE to your question about your 4000 fans . Just saying like
Are you trying to prove that you're thick?

I can only speak for myself but I'd have gone (and brougt my two kids currently going to school in Nottingham;) ) if it'd been Saturday afternoon rather than evening.
I very much like County fans though so I will be a little nervous Monday morning explaining that penalty.

A grown man called Harry

Stop being racist about my name

Sorry mate - I'll leave it alone now! - got my nickname 'Harry' from an old deceased Uncle - my best mate liked his name, started calling me it, and within a few months all the local football teams in the Leamington Sunday league started to think that was my name; then spread to Coventry when I played a bit over there. Even my brother calls me 'H' - Don't mind it though!!

So let me get this straight, you are saying to your mind, that should correctly read 'Where were you are 4,000 away fans?'

Okey dokey.

No for what purpose?
The (joking) implication is that they called it as a lower attendance than it was (say 20k as someone else said) so they keep the full gate money for the undeclared seats, without splitting it with the FA, FL and Notts.

I doubt they did though, i said to my mate it looked lile 17k. Don't worry, I wasn't seriously having a pop at your mates!

Even at 17400 , It’s one of the highest semi final attendances for this level ever .

What about Lincoln and Exeter?

The best bit is that your mates have actually tried to fiddle accounts....

It was a poor crowd and I still can't see why people are defending it.
It needs somebody to do a forensic job off the footage or photos .
Seems a few believe it was around 20K.
If you elimanate the empty blocks then working from there it does seem debatable.

Really, we had the highest Attendance over the L1 & L2 playoff's..

League one
Charlton Athletic 0 - 1 Shrewsbury Town...att..14,367
Scunthorpe United 2- 2 Rotherham United. att...6,591.

League Two.
Lincoln City 0 - 0 Exeter City att...9,509.
Coventry City 1 - 1 Notts County..att 17,404.
although seemed more like 20k to me.
