i quite like him but he has such tinted spectacles on all this stuff.

What I liked as a player was that he’d give lots but also take it and not mind if someone caught him. As a manager he sets his team up to play just on the right side of the rules in terms of aggression.

Really pkeased we competed and managed to play too. Kelly especially very clever at winning free kicks.

Hope he’s banned. Most bullies don’t like force against them, seems Notts county are just like any other bully

Davies and hyam were great at pulling them about they just need to be careful of refs being intimidated.

Just typical of most managers , say what their fans want to hear even if it’s not reflective of the game or situation in question

Wasn't it him who went ape shit when the ref gave handball and it was actually in the box?

I really liked him as a player. Don't care for him one bit as a manager.

He’s made an excellent start in management - early days but he looks potentially good doesn’t he?

We have bunch of babies as fans. Always think that opposition cheat and refs favour them
I wouldn't bday that is quite true. Not for my part anyway.

Been plenty of opposition managers come here who have conducted themselves quite well and whose teams haven't resorted to cheating.

I’ve noticed the media seem very keen on him winning these playoffs, like it’s some kind of fairytale, for that reason and that fact he’s a scouse twat, I’d love to upset the bastard on Friday night!!

How did nolan cheat?

P.s learn to spell
I can spell thanks, but there is something wrong with my tablet at the mo. Sometimes I type the word and it changes it to nonsense.

If it keeps doing it I'm going to rename it my CC4L button.

Nolan is clearly setting his team up to time waste, illegally block, grab on to keepers, dive etc.

What do you call that then?

Wanting to win
As I've said before though, I like to see football played the right way.

I really don't care for the timewasting, diving and feigning injury. I'm embarrassed when/if any of our players do it (for diving cue JCH).

I was impressed with the way Swindon played when they came here. Other teams have deployed the dark arts and I thoroughly dislike it.

I want the City to win, but I am much, much happier when we win because we were the best side not because someone dived to win a penalty.

We stamped on their players and kicked them.off ball for crying out loud.

Biamou feigns injury all the time

Its just football tribalism

Dont get me wrong some teams do it more like stevenage back in the day. Under that manager who inforget his name.

But county didnt strike me as cheats at all

Every team wastes time, shirt pulling at set pieces is farcical. This dark arts stuff is nonsense. All teams play to create an advantage.

Clarke-Harris isn’t very good at conning refs. Mcsheffrey in his first spell was great and won loads of penalties by rolling into defenders. I never had an issue with it.

You obviously have a very short memory. We as supporters have all been saying for years the City are too soft and too nice.

And on Davies, if he meant that tread on their player then I am not at all happy about it.

We were the better side last night for large chunks of the game and that's because we tried to play football and got round the back of them.

You're not making any sense.

We tried to play football and they kept trying to block us off and foul.

What's that got to do with hoofball?

I have said many times I have a lot of problems with the modern game.

I don't like ....

Diving
Shirt pulling
Feigning injury
Professional fouls
Taking the ball into the corners
The pulling back of players
Trying to get opposition players booked or sent off

Etc. etc. etc.

I don't like it when the opposition do it and I don't like it when we do it either.

I know it is part of the modern game. Doesn't mean I have to like or accept it.

Doyle cons refs and chips away all the time. McNulty got a guy sent off the other week when it looked like he’d been shot by a sniper. The challenge was very mild.

Nice teams win nothing. It makes me laugh when people talk about Arsenal. They were at their most successful when Vierra and Petit were in the Middle field and would kick hit or stamp on anything that moved.

I still don't think you get it.

What makes you think I am happy that Doyle chips away at the refs all the time or if McNulty gets a player sent off?

If Bayliss had dived last night I would have been happy with the draw but not the manner of earning it.

What was wrong last night was down to the ref there and not because we in anyway cheated to get the pen.

If Davies had got sent off I would have had no complaints, unless one of their players did the same thing and got away with it.

I just don't like cheating. Spoils the game and I wish they would change the laws.

But then any foul committed is cheating.

Look at 87 - Kilcline almost karate chopped one of their players. In a highly amusing article I think in the guardian he said the ref came over to him and said “what the fuck was that don’t do it again for Christ sake”

Winners have iron men who by your definition cheat - it’s really playing the system to maximum advantage.

Leeds in the 70’s

Man Utd In the Keane years

West Ham we’re succesful when they didn’t play the West Ham way but has Dicks and Ince kicking lumps out of opponents.
