but it wouldnt matter if they sold the whole team, we are terrible. anyway the mesiah hofman will be putting millions and millions into the team. wont he??

Yea but no budget is set in stone, budgets are altered all the time depending on circumstances.i.e. they are working on the budget. This can only be made more difficult given that relegation is probable but not certain.
the real reason to me is obvious - the club would be forced to make a statement in the accounts re post balance sheet events . ie the state of negotiations with Hoff . as they do not want to do that at the moment - they will delay the accounts . Until the hoff bid is successful or other - the accounts will be delayed - same as at the last takeover
Accounts are made available prior to any potential buy out.
