They've had a couple of dodgy moments at the back early on, but the last 20-25 minutes none of that.

Can only beat what's in front of you, and they're doing that very well with some quality movement and plays. They can't help it if their opponents have turned up for the wrong sport so are trying to spoil.
Yeah, get that, but some of our passing has been very poor. Given the ball away and lost possession on a number of occasions.

I have seen what on paper appear to be better England sides labour against the likes of Panama. This has been great. Delivery from set pieces great, clear cohesion. The Belgium game though not that important could be a cracker.

Could be the reserves of both sides trying to lose!

I’m not sure I agree with trying to lose a game. Winning the group does put us in the more difficult side of the draw but momentum is an interesting thing.

Going to be a training session though isn't it.

Just hope the second half of this game doesn't become one. This lot deserve a proper thrashing.

Perceived more difficult...you can only beat what is in front of you - & they are doing so emphatically.

I didn't think Southgate was the right man but we have already exceeded our last 4 tournament efforts imo. They look the part. Look like a team!

The way they are playing they need fear noone. And even if they got knocked out next round they can come home with their heads up unlike the last 3/4 lots.

Somehow I Think England got to get sterling a couple of gilt edge chances. Be interesting to see if rashford in for him against Belgium.

I think a good team will exploit our frailties at the back. But then all the good teams seem to have frailties of there own to worry about

Can't read too much into the second half but maybe if Panama had concentrated on playing football for 90 minutes it could have been a little closer.
