I was a bit unsure of what I was doing ajsccfc, but I just played around with different settings. I bought a really nice tripod (on the IoW) for 30 quid a few years ago. Well worth getting one. Do you have remote control?Love shots like that. The amount of times I'd considered buying a tripod just to try that
You should. It's a great pastime. I'm no expert, but love taking shots of all sorts. I've bought an intervalometer, a remote control and a tripod along with a couple of lenses and filters. All this was over a two year period, but I'm quite happy with what I now have (although I get a tad envious of some great zoom shots I've seen!). If you spread the costs over a period of time it ain't too bad. Then take yourself out and click away! Coventry and Warwickshire has some beautiful countryside and surroundings. It depends on what you want to photograph. Best wishes in your venture if you take it up again! (I even tried some time-lapse stuff! I'll find it out and put it up.)No, don't have any kind of equipment at all nowadays. One day I'll get back into it properly I hope

Reminds me of that scene in the film "The Time Machine" where the shop window keeps changing over the years....….. and this was my 2nd. (one photo every 30 seconds) There are variations in light due to the movement of the bloody sun outside! Lol!

I never noticed the light changing in just an hour. You only notice things like that in time lapse.Reminds me of that scene in the film "The Time Machine" where the shop window keeps changing over the years.
I bet you get some amazing sunsets to light up that view with colour.I take a lot of landscapes, living where i do, there't a lot of landscape about.

I always appreciate a landscape where the horizon is perfectly level. Well done on those nice shots.
Fish statue in a lily pond at Santa Barbara Zoo, California.
It's a wonderful zoo if you ever get the chance to go there.
