So much for Dr Fox's it'll be the easiest negotiations in history! I wonder how long May has left? One positive is that the Tories will forever be associated with the legacy of this mess.

Ok you didn’t specifically say BMW you were talking about the German car manufacturing industry as a whole but a little bit of poetic license aside the point stands.

We’re talking about a percentage of a percentage of a percentage of a percentage of 4%. If Grendull is correct profit is another percentage you have to factor in.

The EU imports into U.K. as a whole represents 4% of all EU imports, I think you’re trying to say that 33% of that is Germany products (let’s assume that is correct for the sake of it) so of my head 30% of 4% is around 1.3%ish, any data I can find on what percentage of Germany’s exports are from the motor industry is 12-15%, again of the top of my head 15% of 1.3% is about 0.20%. We’ll leave Grendulls fact about profit out of the equation even though that will reduce the amount more but on that basis alone you’re suggesting that the EU should rip up the single market to offer us a free trade deal based on 0.20% of the trade they do so Germany can still sell cars on the current footing into the U.K. What makes you think that the other 26 members are going to vote for the abandonment of the single market on that basis for the sake of one industry of one member? The 26 all have a power of veto I’ll remind you and only one has to use it.
Poetic licence? So you changed the facts.

There are a fair few that don't export much. What they do export here is massive to them. But because of the massive amount of what Germany exports the rest of the countries only get a very small % of the total. But it means a lot to them.

Left the EEC not the EU you idiot. Possibly a double idiot because I’m pretty sure Greenland isn’t a country it’s an overseas territory of Denmark.
So are you a treble idiot when you say we voted to join and then stay in the EU?

Oh I think not. In the end the government will agree a deal which will focus in free trade and deny feeedom of movement.

Parliament will reject it. Given Corbyn has explicitly stated he will never permit freedom of movement an election will be then declared just before the leaving date.

He will never be able to present a creditable alternative from a principal he agrees with.

“Arrogant lecturing” they are trying to point out to the British people that the Tory party is being held to ransom by an extreme minority whose only interest is their own advancement and are already plotting to sell our public services to American corporations. And they call the people who want to stop Brexit “traitors”.

The extreme minority you talk about must be those who run the EU.

It's inevitable that he will ditch his principles.

Especially as we were supposed to have voted to remain in the EU. And they wouldn't listen to it not being the EU. Now when it needs to be something different to the EU it suddenly is.

How? Last night on question time it was again said that this is the labour strategy. If an election was declared just weeks before departure how would Corbyn about turn? Also he can’t. His puppet master in UNITE knows this is the one chance the real socialist movement have of removing what they see as a cancer to democracy

Yeah, It'll never be their fault, no matter what happens. It'll always be the fault of scheming foreigners and traitors within.

He randomly still maintains there’s 27 EU states.

He’s an absolute moron.

I changed 1 fact not facts. Sounds like you were in the same maths class as Grendull. I also said it very much tongue in cheek. Sorry that was beyond you.

It could mean everything to them. It’s still only a percentage of a percentage of a percentage so on and so on and it means jack to the other 26 members who have their own interests and a veto. Germany’s car industry runs the EU even less than some bloke I never heard of appointed by Junker.

Yes I’m well aware of that. It’s been explained to you exactly what I was saying even though it was obvious in the first place but you keep pretending I meant something else. You clearly need the distraction so you can have that one on me.

To be fair I thought you were going to say Saint Barthélemy so you’re not quite as stupid as I thought. You are stupid though.

So tony is the Eu the same as the EEC

The question was when we voted. So to twist it you move onto a different subject. How unusual.

You’ve lost me now. You asked me to show that we don’t want to be in the single market, that was cleared long ago which is why we have the Irish border problem. If we left the EU but stayed in the single market there would be no border problem.

Really? What was the date they triggered article 50?

Tony this is tiresome. What you are saying is Greenland left her EEC therefore the EU os not the EEC - is this what you saying?

Seriously this is really becoming embarrassing

You’ll be asking me next if the EU is the ECSC. You know when you’re in the a hole it’s advisable to stop digging at some point.

Tony even Mart knows you are making a fool of yourself - still this is priceless so let’s continue - Tony is the EU the same as the EEC?

Hahaha. With every one of your EU fawning posts you reveal how little you understand the British people.

Virtually no one here gives a toss what a pipsqueak politician like Macron says. Come to think of it, there’s not too many in France who care either.

The arrogant lecturing from people like him, Juncker and Tusk are one of the reasons we voted to leave the EU cesspit.

And we will leave martclegg.

In other words you inadvertently admit that Macron hit the nail on the head, but rather than admit that openly, you join the other quitters in attacking Macron. I would say I am more in line with the younger British who favour remain than the older ones who voted 2 to 1 to leave, thus inflicting Brexit on the next generations.

Arrogant? May was told that Chequers wouldn’t work, but still stood up in front of the leaders of 27 sovereign states and told them it was the only option. They all gave her the two finger salute and sent her packing. The polls were showing that over 70% are unhappy with the way negotiations are being conducted. Not how the EU are conducting them, but how our government are conducting them. I think you don’t realise what British people think about the negotiations.

Greenland never left as a country. It still isn’t recognised as a country now. They have no seat on the UN, they’re not even recognised as a sovereign nation in the world of sport. They have no rights to enter the World Cup or European cup (even Greenlands little Danish brother the Faroe Islands has that right), they have no right to enter a team into the Olympics.

Before you want to quibble whether the EU is the EEC or not you want to go of and educate what qualifies as a country first.

Not at all. We were supposed to have asked to get out of the single market. I said people had many things they wanted to be out of before the single market.

So what has it been changed to now?

No mate, I am watching your deflections and frustration as you see your beloved Brexit descending into a heap of crap. 27 heads of state representing 440 million people just sent out ridiculous PM packing. Priceless.

Every one who voted for the vaguely termed „leave“, should hang their head in shame. Our country looks like a fool. We said we were leaving, but as of yet, we haven’t got a workable exit strategy. You all should have questioned the liars more. Asked what leave actually meant. Now you are told by BoJo that it meant having faith ( WTF? ), and Mogg says it means having „hope“ and that it will be fine long after many of us on here are dead.

All you come out with is Juncker, Selmayr, blue passports and fish, and the hope that the EU needs us more than we need them. Pathetic.

Why aren’t people, leavers, on here asking the liars to explain why negotiations are going so badly and humiliatingly? No. You try and deflect and mock the people who predicted this disaster, or point out that you have been lied to. Anything, but blame the culprits.

Anyone knows why negotiations are not going well. Those running the EU are refusing to negotiate.

We are leaving the single market. May has said that. No one asked you whether you wanted to leave the SM. You’re leaving. It’s democracy, get over it. And it will effect your life far more than Selmayr’s appointment.

Yes we are leaving the SM. It is the only way of getting our independence back. Let your country GERMANY take the piss.
