The EU does not work on a country basis, apart from the Council and the nomination of Commissioners where all countries are represented. Juncker was nominated for election by a political grouping, not a country. It is unlikely they will choose a German as successor and it is speculation that Barnier will take over. There are other parliamentary committees on which we were represented.

It was me who brought up the subject of Selmayr. I said all rules and regulations had been broke to put him in place. You and Mart said they were not. When the point was proven Mart went along the line that it was legal. Of course it was because there wasn't a law against it happening.

Can you name all the rules and regulations? I bet you can’t. I haven’t given an opinion on it other than I couldn’t give a flying one as ultimately it changes nothing so no I haven’t said it doesn’t break rules or regulations whether that be none or all of them, whatever all of them are. Dominic Raab this morning correctly referred to the fact that the EU has a long history of ignoring democratic votes and successfully plotting to overturn them. That’s EU democracy. He went on to point out the British democracy doesn’t work that way. Very refreshing to hear the EU zealots called out.

It’s clear which version of democracy you subscribe to.

How is the EU plotting anything? They are united in preserving their Single Market and CU.

The Conservative government has not come up with a plan to leave the EU in 2 years. They are disunited and squabbling with each other.

The Conservative form of democracy is chaos. It has arrived at an impass 2 years after promising a referendum and it arriving at a small % majority in favour of leaving.

They cannot arrive at a conclusion as to what Brexit is. Apart from Brexit.

I subscribe to a democracy with an educated electorate that can make an informed decision. Looks like there isn’t one in Britain. They were lied to by the Brexit culprits. I sincerely hope that the electorate turns against these liars.

Just of the top of my head since the last election you have the government striking a deal with a climate change denying, links to terrorism, cash for ash scandal, anti peace process mob called the DUP who don’t even have the ability to govern their own part of the U.K. because of the already mentioned cash for ash scandal. Then you have the means to this deal, by finding the magic money tree they just spent weeks telling us it doesn’t exist. Right up until the point they needed to save their own political necks. Then you have the government trying to bypass the democracy of our sovereign parliament save for a very embarrassing JR and climb down. Then you have the pairing scandal, another attempt to thwart democracy. Just very recently there was the deliberate act of ensuring that a government white paper wasn’t distributed to the opposition parties in a deliberate attempt to thwart commons debate over a government brexit announcement. I could go on and on and all examples would be equally as bad to anything that’s happened in the EU and you know it. You’re just trying to be a smart arse.
