Yeah but I'd say that's where the credit goes to Robins and people like Widdrington.

The money is still available but instead of Ramage, Hunt, Henderson we are bringing in up and coming players. Robins gets that for him to have more money on the pitch the club needs to make more money.
All in all, the club is being run a lot better. We should cast Sisu from our minds and use our energy shouting at the players on a Saturday haha

Yeah but there's also been a noticeable change since Boddy came in.

I was just trying to point out they haven't "invested" before it turned into a bit of a Wankfest about it when the credit should really be the people who have spotted players like McNulty to sell on. The people who have nurtured Maddison since a kid to make him worth so much.

No, all because you sign up and only seem to want to post on certain threads. One of your first posts was to moan about paying for a ticket, in a further post you are a season ticket holder. (Ay, whats all that about). Ah innocent mistake, if he's a season ticket holder then he will surely have comments about the games and not just a particular subject. Right? If it's a new user, surely they won't act as if they know other posters?

Again, you're making accusations and believe that your opinion is gospel with literally zero proof or evidence to support your statements, regardless of my previous posts explaining how you're wrong. You are literally backing up exactly everything I've said in my past couple of posts. Cheers.

I'll be sure to start leaving my ratings /10 in future for Cov players - sorry mate, but that don't interest me.

Profits from promotion, cup success, player sales (Wilson, Clarke etc). Not just Maddison.

Well at this point we simply don't know if it is profit or increased turnover that has or will be be spent.

I do agree with you that the club is on a better financial footing than it was and is much better run.
It took SISU about 10 years to steady the ship, the first few years were not very clever.

I still do not understand why SISU bought the club in the first place, any fool with half an eye on football finance should have understood it would take £100m or more to get from the Championship to the Premier League short of a fluke promotion (like Blackpool a few years back).

I also do not understand what motive SISU have for staying, the only possibility is that they think they can hang on till Wasps are desperate and force a deal on them which recovers their investments since Joy took charge. (I see SISU investment in 2 distinct parts the failed and written off original led by Ranson & successors and the ARVO investment c. 2011 to present).

You just had to bring it back up! haha. I'm messing now. It's only a game at the end of the day. We're all passionate fans, we shouldn't bicker!

I have given you evidence, your post history and contradictions.

Football doesn't interest you? You are on a football forum.

I'd rather be called a c*nt from an actual fan to be fair as then at 3PM on a Saturday it's all the same.

Not 9AM on Monday when they clock back in ;)

Inanely adding ratings for players doesn't interest me, no. News and gossip does. Problem?

Plenty of other discussion about football on here other than the player ratings isn't there?

The problem is that your lack of interest in the football, weird inconsistencies, very targeted post history and apparent in depth knowledge of other posters after you have just signed up is exactly the same as all of the others.

You do your own thing, I'll do mine :)

Christ.

The point wasn't how a business should be run, was it?

It's as if you are reading something completely different.

The definition of invest is:

I really don't think it can be made any simpler before it gets patronising.

Not really an investment if they put money in then to be fair!

The club is running a lot better and I also agree with all your points regarding that the club has technically invested by not taking money out the club generated by whatever means. There is no doubt of that.

Im not surprised he doesn't understand your very good points! He would argue in front of mirror if he could.

The way you keep saying club shows you don't understand my point.

You clearly don't understand how business works, Nick.

In financial accounting and business 1-0-1, if you're using funds/profits generated from business, it's called reinvestment. Regardless of whether the funds are profits, or you've dipped into a £20m war chest, if you're buying assets it's an investment.

But as I said, my personal opinion is that they haven't invested - or certainly haven't invested as much as they could have / should have.

Are you that bloke who once posted a picture of his "wife" in some hideous suggestive underwear - I can't think of the username - boot something? Got banned in the end.

I don't think you are Peeler - then again

Bruce the boot, on the 'not so obvious babes' thread. Fortunately the photo is not available anymore.

For the last 15 years, yes. Finally they have turned the business around so they don't need to use there own money anymore. So, when you say Sisu havent invested, your chatting shit. The pure fact they didn't pocket all of the Maddison money, giving a dividend to their investors, instead letting us use it! I think we need to draw a line with this one. I this we've gotten our wires crossed along they way. Would be a much easier discussion in person though.
Ten 3-minute rounds should sort it.

Fucking hell, two very obstinate posters saying the same thing over and over for several pages. The two of you are using the word "investment" differently.

When a business spends its own money on fixed assets economists call that "investment". In that sense Greggs is right.

When an owner puts money into a business, accountants call that "investment". In that sense Nick is right.

Now the pair of you, SHUT THE FUCK UP.
