Anjem Choudary: Radical preacher has assets frozen - Radical preacher Choudary has assets frozen

I wonder how much it is going to cost to put all those measures in place in monitoring him.

Choudary grooms people to commit appalling acts and then he sits back and lets them face the punishment when caught

He should have been hung from a rope and then his followers could have seen how brave the miserable wretch was when faced with imminent and painful death. I doubt he’d be smiling and looking towards allah

Yeah and treated with more respect from his followers for being a martyr! Duh!

There was a documentary about him and some of moronic followers that's worth a watch. As far as I can remember most of them were Muslim-converts and obviously had issues.

They ended up getting abuse in the street from other Muslims for trying to spread hatred.

I'm sure there's photos of him drinking alcohol and getting stoned at uni, which he'd probably believe constitute some kind of warped punishment now.

Edit: Apologies not sure if they were his followers but I'm sure they admire him and he is mentioned in, it's worth a watch.

Scary.

He's getting out after serving half his sentence, which apparently is perfectly normal.
The police would love to put him away for good, but the laws are just not strong enough.
New laws are needed to cover the type of activities he engages in.

Based on that then, I'm surprised Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi isn't up for Shadow Foreign Secretary.

You love the shouty nonsense don't you.

Well, let's see here.

Both Corbyn and McDonnell have been accused of supporting, or being sympathetic to, the IRA.

John McDonnell is the Shadow Chancellor and was yesterday quoted as saying that he "longs for a United Ireland" and that he's "a Republican at heart". People are just putting two and two together.

I would love to see it. First we need to prove that God doesn't exist. That would be a great start.

Err??.?? What? I say, what???

Restrictions in place on Choudary. Great!

Restrictions only in place for 2 years. WTF!!

They have already said that he has become even more hardened in his beliefs and even more radicalised since being in prison.

You know exactly what is going to happen in two years don't you!!

The bit I don't get is that he was let out less than half way through his sentence. Why? Why if he's become more radicalised and shown zero remorse for his crimes?

My sentiments exactly, but sadly, it's the law these days. If someone has been sentenced and then serves half that sentence as a "model" prisoner i.e. behaves well etc, then they are entitled to early release. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter who you are or what you've done.
