“I don’t want to put a dampener on it but I just want the players to understand that to concede two goals like we have done against better teams will cost us.

“So it’s just a case of wanting them to learn and defend.

“The goals, the corners, the set plays were good but it was a bit nail biting at the end.

So mark robin's said exactly what I did. Is he a negative assehole? Does he have no clue about the game? Is that what you think of our manager?

“Coventry were always looking dangerous. I was impressed with Coventry, we made it easy for them but they looked good. Pace in right areas and strength where you need it”

Bradford fans forum comment , feels good :)

If we ever get back on an even keel and get rid of these owners from making footballing decisions at this club I'd have Robins"

Someone needs to tell them our lord has no experience or ability to work under difficult ownership.

Bloody typical. The one night when I'm busy working and can't sit back and watch the game and they do that!

He will get his chance. For once, we are actually spoiled with the wealth of talent we have. I have no doubt Baka will come in/on and score some important goals this year. Probably replace one of the forwards who get poached in Jan or end of season.

Not aimed directly at you but this really highlights the fine margins that football managers have to live and die by.

Only a few weeks ago, Robins recruitment was all over the place, we signed too many players, Bakayoko was a panic buy, Chelsea are forcing us to play Sterling, Hiwula doesn’t look like a winger and doesn’t look like a centre forward, etc.

Four games later and posters on here and Twitter etc are now praising Robins recruitment and the wealth of options we now have! It’s a world of madness football.

That’s why it’s generally a good idea to ignore football fans. We’re fickle by nature because our loyalty to managers and players is conditional.

Robins record speaks for itself and this season was about being patient whilst he figured out his best team, and for the new players to gel.

Can we really push for playoffs? At a push, yes. However, we most likely need to add a few more experienced players to push on.

Is mark robin's on crack too @David O'Day ???

Such disrespect for our manager. Sad to see after all he's done. On crack because he wasn't happy with defending at the end.

@WhaleOilBeefHooked do you think mark robins should get a grip for agreeing with me? Do you want to tell him a win is a win? Our manager must be an idiot eh?

Sad to see.

I'd say we have a good mix of experience. While we all consider Burge and Willis young, both have had years of experience in League 1. Doyle and Brown obvious examples of experience, too.

I think we’re ready for a play off push. I think it’s a myth about lacking experience. Most the squad experienced promotion last season via play offs. The additions are players with pedigree at this level. Our manager knows the squad and they understand what’s required. Arguably have as much experience and quality as anyone in the league and I honestly believe we can and should be looking at top 6.

There's something about CCFC and Robins that seems to work, his win % for us is insanely good (for us).
And in even better news, after walking out once before and getting sacked twice elsewhere, he's more likely to stick with us now than take a chance on more money in a higher league.

He's on a good thing here and of course a manager goes elsewhere and it can take time to make a positive change and get the squad he wants and the team playing the way he wants.

If Robins left he could easily find himself sacked elsewhere. There is a total impatience in the game for instant success.

He'd be mad to leave again, even for a top Championship club.

Like I say, he's on a good thing here, well liked and doing really well. He needs to be thinking it terms of how far can I take this football club rather than dreaming of going to another club and I'm sure that IS the case.

He's looking like our best manager for years. His stats back that up entirely with his win percentage.

No Robins is a professional giving a measured response, he's hardly going to go be like "up ya you northern pricks" is he.

Also Robins doesn't shout a low flying plahes like you

It’s not much of a concern , best defender out injured , team in cruise mode , switched off for a few minutes happens to every club in every league at every level at some point

first time we've lead by more than a single goal.
May sound silly but it's a new experience for this very young team so everything is a learning curve.
Never would have backed us to get 12 points from 12 from the last 4 games. Some tricky fixtures coming up, Doncaster, Accrington, Burton and Peterboro. Would be delighted with 7 points and no one injured in the two cup games.
