Can’t even guess what that’s supposed to mean.
Do you acknowledge what I’ve said is correct?

Who has blamed immigrants? I have said it is the fault of both the Tories and Labour.
But I am not going to sit here and agree when someone says that mass immigration to the UK has had no effect or has made no difference. It has exasperated the problem.
Then you have Tony who tries to twist the truth all the time.
Somalians don't have free access to the UK? I presume if they are here they've been granted permission to work, have claimed asylum or are here illegally.
I'm not sure how they have anything to do with the EU if they are in this country.
They'll still be able to do that after Brexit. Unless we're going to refuse to take any asylum seekers which won't do our international relationships much good at a time we're trying to negotiate trade deals.Somalians claim asylum don’t they?
If they arrived in another EU country first, I believe they then have an automatic right of entry to the UK?
Whatever the technicalities there are a very large number of them where I live and increasing every day.
Do they not have to be granted "asylum seeker" or something first? If that was the case why are there migrant camps all along the French coast full of illegal immigrants who are trying to cross the channel illegally as they have no rights to cross it legally?

If they have been granted citizenship of that country, then they probably do, in which case they were probably asylum seekers. If they weren't asylum seekers then they wouldn't be able to move around the EU freely, unless they were doing so illegally, in which case they'd get picked up at the UK border.
Do they not have to be granted "asylum seeker" or something first?
But according to previous posts in this thread they wouldn't be allowed to work here (which they do) and wouldn't qualify for social housing (which they also do).

There are plenty of South Americans here and none of them are from an ex-British colony. The fact is they're here and they're not from any former British colony, likewise Tunisians, Moroccans, etc.

Most are hard working. Then they send money back to those they left behind. But should we ignore what the others do?LOL yes I'm sure organised crime gangs have loads of interest in working legally and no organised crime gangs have ever entered and committed crimes in a country that has tough immigration laws.
Most Romanians are decent people and aren't gangsters, btw
Where? On a social housing estate in Coventry? There are plenty of South Americans here and none of them are from an ex-British colony.
I have said a fair few times about my family that have moved to an EU country. And also about my plans that were to leave the UK semi permanently in 9 years. I see it both ways. But I am not supposed to mention anything which causes problems in the UK. If you need proof just look at the diatribe that Tony comes out with. And the fool voted UKIP.I’ve read most of the posts on here and most recognise there have been benefits and costs to Eu migration. Very rare to see any recognition of emigration to Eu nations from us Brits. It’s a shame that facts are so hard to come by in this brave new world. They do say truth is the first victim don’t they?
There's no good reason for them being here. So? What’s your point?
Yes correct as I have just mentioned.Astute's sister runs and owns a bar in France, I believe, so he knows all too well.
Most are hard working. Then they send money back to those they left behind. But should we ignore what the others do?
I acknowledge that what you have said is you twisting the truth as usual and have ignored everything I have said as usual. Can’t even guess what that’s supposed to mean.
Do you acknowledge what I’ve said is correct?
Just point out once where I have said anything against it.I don't see how you could begrudge a working person doing what they wish, including giving it to their family. I'm sure you would do the same in their position.
Just point out once where I have said anything against it.
What I do point out is how it affects people in the UK. Then I get told it makes no difference. Like millions of people moving here makes no difference to our homeless problem. Yeah OK. It isn't their fault but it does make a massive difference.

That's Richard Branson's House Boy isn't it?
Says who?
The notion that immigration will stop after even the hardest of brexits is naive.
African migrants will fill whatever gap the EU workers leave.
That's Richard Branson's House Boy isn't it?
Who says otherwise?
Nigerians, Kenyans, Ugandans, etc. I can understand but not Africans with no historical connection with Britain.
It's not just about about total numbers. Many of the so-called "EU migrants" come from countries with no historical connection with Britain, who don't speak English (at least as a second language) and whose culture is totally alien to anything in this country.
If they arrived in another EU country first, I believe they then have an automatic right of entry to the UK?

Where would that be? Alien culture in Christian Europe? Gipsies maybe as the live in their own communities wherever they are. But, othordox or RC are not alien cultures.
The "EU migrants" I mentioned was a euphamism, I really meant those colonial migrants from outside the EU who use EU rules as a right of entry to the UK.
And yes those "Little-Britons" who build hideous villas which antagonise the Spanish locals annoy me just as much. I had a blazing row with a British friend over the subject.
