The trust can take a stance on something without telling people how to spend their money. Why not just make it very clear the trust does not think Wasps should be in Coventry.

Great idea. I’ll add it to the list. My initial thoughts would be to combine the two. What I would say is my open invitation is an opportunity for people to put themselves forwards to help us do something. We need good numbers so have to start somewhere. It should be sooner rather than later too as we don’t have many opportunities left to do it. How many home games are there left? 2? 3 maybe?

I don't think so much as telling people what to do/how to spend their money (although members of the trust do encourage people to NOPM).
The trust could use their platform and ask/request people stay away for a game. Obviously w***s fans (the proper ones from London) won't listen. But anybody from Coventry, people who support CCFC, ANYBODY IN THE CITY THAT CCFC GOING BUST AFFECTS!!! Just stay away for 1 match. Show w***s what were capable of when they drop from 14k fans to 5k fans writhing a week. If you put the squeeze on CCFC, this is what our squeeze can do in return sort of thing.

We as fans don’t have the millions of pounds to change anything. All this arguing is just tearing people apart. SISU and Wasps are in a position to see who blinks first and protests and sit ins are all very nice but will mean fook all.
Money talks and I’d love us to create a fund to buy SISU out etc but we are talking £10m which is beyond our reach and investors who have had a butchers already.
Fook em we have no choice but to just support OUR team to the end.

Something like I’m going and I voted labour in the last election so it will really be a socialist rally not a protest against Wasps and he won’t mix with socialist in case it means he’s a socialist by default so the Trust doesn’t represent him not in his name blah blah blah. I think I’ve covered all the angles. He won’t involve himself that’s for sure but it won’t stop him labelling those involved as fickle and if it does all go tits up and the club ceases to exist it wasn’t his fault for doing nothing other than being a keyboard hero and getting so upset when someone called Tim a wanker to his face at a train station that he had to start a thread arguing that Tim isn’t a wanker, instead it will be everyone who tried something fault.

My Brother put it on here in a post invited the likes of you and torch etc but you never turned up not surprised really you are just talk.
You think you are the only one who has to go to work well sorry some of us took time off when we found out the council had changed the time.

Lots of people go to work. However, not many can say at 10am that they need to go at 2pm. However at 5-6pm before the game it's more doable.
This thread is about the trust isn't it and trust action? Hence I asked if it was on the trust site.
It's funny that people like you jump in when there's constructive feedback for the trust, it's no wonder if ends up just being pointless stuff time and time again.
I'm hardly all talk, if there's something I think has legs I'll back it. The same as I have and will today's trust article. The same as when I offered to help the trust out and spent a few hours doing something to not even get a reply.

It seems ironic that the most vehement posters on here calling for protests against the council or Wasps have often been the same people moaning like fuck about how futile direct action has been against SISU. While Wasps and the Council have an indirect interest in the fortunes of CCFC, it is SISU who are charged with running the club and working for its interests, so surely its understandable why any protests will primarily focus on them. I also wonder how many of the posters on this thread, would be prepared to leave the comfort of their keyboard to effectively protest against the council or Wasps, if any such protests were organised.

I think there should be pressure on all sides. Each party is different so would have different things that piss them off / get to them.
For example Wasps, I have never suggested going and disrupting their games or pissing off their fans. I have made a point of saying it's not their fans fault (even though a minority who want to ccfc die can do one). Whenever there is a whiff of negativity they try to cover it up, take the Higgs stuff as an example. In the days leading up to it there were some really strange accounts on here signing up and not doing much. The news came out about Wasps trying to move into the Higgs and they strangely appeared on it, then there were accounts which had signed up a couple of years ago making a return.
Wasps have shown they are worried about some negative PR in the city, they are trying to build here and need to be liked. So me saying to pressure them doesn't have to mean stand outside a match shouting scabs at their fans as that's just as pointless as doing it at our matches.
As Liquid Gold has said, ask them some basic questions openly and demand answers. Name and shame them and make sure that all of the press know about it like they do when it's SISU. If they refuse to answer then make sure everybody knows they refuse to answer.
Same with the Council, we have the council leader gloating about public opinion after he clearly made something up. This gets mentioned and surprise surprise there are things that fire up to make it go away. Strange social media accounts pop up, stories are spun in the media and it's "what Duggins bullshit?". Like I said, there's the road traffic campaigner who gives them absolute hell and it doesn't involve standing about with a banner.
Both of them need to know that they can't sit comfortably and rely on "public opinion" and just say the word "SISU" and everything goes away when they bullshit.
SISU, it's pointless doing things at games or just trying to make people aware of the "plight" every couple of games. They don't give a shit about their reputation as a football club owner, they care about their reputation as Hedge Fund / Investment people. Who is it they want to impress and look good for? How do they attract "clients"?
It's about who needs to look good for who. Wasps and the Council need to look good for the Coventry public. SISU need to look good for investors, potential investors and people within their "circles", the Coventry public is irrelevant to them.
The thought that "pressure" instantly seems to mean standing somewhere with a banner chanting things just shows that people aren't willing to step back and think outside the box about things.
The result should be entirely focused on getting us a deal to play and exist next year surely? When people say "the aim is for some exposure to the plight" it's pointless.
