Have Brentford had their away end fitted with seats now?
I’m sure clubs have 3 years to put seats in. I’m guessing the EFL will turn a blind eye if it means less paperwork for them.

recon we got a high percentage of fans who live in treacle Town anywayThe ones who don't go in Coventry anyway?
With Brentford due to move to a new ground anyway they'll get dispensationI’m sure clubs have 3 years to put seats in. I’m guessing the EFL will turn a blind eye if it means less paperwork for them.
And three sides of Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium are definitely standing room only as well. I was surprised that a club who only last season had been in the Championship were allowed to get away with this, but the rules apparently say that it's only after three years in the Championship that you have to go all seated.
Had a job to park there for a pre-season game.
The surrounding infrastructure surely can't cope with those sort of numbers.
There again they have to have contingency plan
On the face of it you'd think being forced out of Coventry is playing in to SISU's hands. They can no doubt engineer another court case out of that and as we've seen even when they have no hope of winning they can keep these things going for years.
Pissing off the fans by playing out of Coventry wouldn't bother them in the slightest if they felt it gave them the upper hand elsewhere.

The EFL is pragmatic and rightly so
Got a strange feeling you could be right about Nuneaton as lots of things to point to it - won't be going anyway season ticket holder for 30 years but that would be enough for meHope you are right Nick. How many season tickets can Nuneatons ground hold (exits forum!)?
even before getting EFL approval there are serious hurdles to overcome.
Nuneaton Town do not own the ground so have no say in it (if they are still around)
The Nuneaton Rugby club have already shown how they react to their ground being affected by a football club.
Access to the ground itself is going to be a problem for large numbers
the standard of the ground & pitch would have to be greatly improved
The traffic is a problem. There are long queues every morning and evening through the town already
Do Warwickshire Police have the man power to cover matches, sometimes twice a week?
it isnt just about number of seats ..... there the supporting items for crowd safety, toilets etc that will need to be added and improved
EFL ground regs can be found here
EFL Official Website - Appendix 1 - Membership Criteria (Regulation 8)
Nothing is unsurmountable but it is going to cost and will take time.
Also EFL rules are of course subject to discretion by the EFL board
Any ground move, would mean due to lower revenues, our next league move would be League 2 and not the ChampionshipThe ground is owned by the Port Vale man who is a City fan and if I remember rightly doesn’t think sisu are all that bad and may not have anybody else to use the facilities.
The Nuneaton council is very money hungry and will think of the money it brings to the surrounding area especially if it’s own team goes tits up.
The rugby club have pushed their luck long enough and should be put in their place the local council should tell them to play ball or get ready for the next development for housing to be plonked on the middle of their pitch.
The traffic is bad in the town but you don’t need to go through it to get to the ground and plenty of local parking as the crowds wouldn’t be massive.

We could well finish top 8 this season - and does not take significant improvement to turn that into a promotion chasing team, however playing at Nuneaton will probably see our average age go down by another 2 or 3 years
Completely agree. I would have thought it was an absolute given, but have seen some people say they would rather the team went under. Absolutely crazy. There won't be a single Sky Blues fan who actively wants to see us play in Nuneaton, but given the available options, it would have to be to carry on at Nuneaton. But we don’t know the new rental figure that could be far higher than it is now so the available money would be lower anyway.
I would rather have the team in Nuneaton than no team.

Some fans strangely want the legals to be dropped more than they want the club.
I think it’s more they don’t see a future for the club without the legal being dropped mate.
Silly language about how fans don’t care for the club helps no one.
One side thinks Sisu are needed for the clubs survival, the other thinks they need to be gone for the clubs survival. Neither side doesn’t care about the clubs survival.
So sisu drop legals problem solved, why wouldn't you want that?I said they were more bothered about the legal action being dropped rather than is existing. It's there to see.
I wouldn't really say anybody thinks SISU are "needed" other than RFC.
My point is that my sole focus is having a deal rather than just the legals dropped. So sisu drop legals problem solved, why wouldn't you want that?
Or keep them going and potentially disappear, why would you risk that?
Any way wont be long we'll soon find out.
Hopefully in a couple of weeks, rather then months.
If we do go bust can we blame Brexit?
Solihull Moors ground is better and not to far away?
So not in Nuneaton then?Don’t worry you can park on my drive it’s about fifteen minutes walk past a very nice pub
So not in Nuneaton then?
The acorn is a very nice pub and then down to the crows nest
I actually don't care what happens as long as we get a deal to play at the RicohMy point is that my sole focus is having a deal rather than just the legals dropped.
If they get dropped and we get a deal, bonus.
I wouldn't turn my nose up at one without though
Just because my main aim is ccfc, don't let your mates banging on about supporting the legal action trick you. The same as their pretend reasons to boycott they made up.
First and foremost it's about ccfc, that's above legal action.

I'm always concise as you knowPretty much summed up my 6 lines in one
Not bothering with the Harvester? Too upper class?
Never been in there so don’t know what it’s like
That’s the crows nest the acorn is at the top by horeston grange
Is the Acorn the one on the left as you go up past the crem?

I remember when the Crows Nest was first built. Was a decent pub, there and the Attleborough Arms. Posy pubs with good looking clientele. (Me)
Times have changed.
