Good call.
Rees Mogg will be tipped of in advance as he’s a practicing Catholic and him being the team player he is he will scupper the plot.
Once he’s moved his assets around to ensure he profits from the venture regardless of course...
There is/was so much spin from both sides before the vote that you can accuse all of them to spin the truth and pluck magic numbers from the air to sway people to their view point. But previous years of media hype and a discruntled pubilc, I would argue you can boil it down to three main factors that the 17.4M were most likely to be annoyed about:
- Immigration
- Spunking money to the EU
- Making our own laws
Thats the crux and I would imagine thats what all leavers would think thats what they were voting for. If those three bases are covered, most of that 17.4M aren't fussed about the details - leave that to the MPs to sort out.
Actually this last bit should sum it up.[QUOTE="RegTheDonk,

I think he put it up a few days ago. I just thought it was funny, whether you voted leave or remain.Threatening violence on the same day a right winger kills 40 in New Zealand

Then that's great, but not everyone is.Knowing the idiots we have in this country I think it’s fucking stupid
Then that's great, but not everyone is.
Okay mate, perhaps he should be arrested then. I just thought it was funny that's all. Better to hang out a banner and make your feelings known than to go out and kill someone.
Funny thoughErm, the bloke who failed, got caught and was then tortured and executed? That bloke?
Good call.
‘Wouldn’t it be great if someone blew up Parliament LOL’
Which one?I take it that moron has been back posting on the thread.

Seriously??? You cannot separate the two? Was that post made with any link or knowledge of the NZ attack? One is dreadful reality, the other poking fun at a current political shambles!Threatening violence on the same day a right winger kills 40 in New Zealand
So ALL humour is suspended?!? Already had 1 MP killed by an insane right winger
Yes Bazza, there's never been any on this thread. So ALL humour is suspended?!

Guy Fawkes is actually celebrated 5th November every year. Not the actual terrorism of it. Where you draw the line is different to others.Yeah humour related to acts of terrorism is hilarious

The post was in no way linked to anything other than a failed plot being the answer to Brexit arguments in a parliament that cannot seem to sort itself out. So I don't think it is fair to make the poster feel shit because of what happened in NZ AFTER (I suspect) they had posted it.

Yes, that is right - still doesn't detract from the sentiment meant by the chap with the banner. Nor the interpretation of the poster, nor mine. It is amusing. It doesn't mean I am suggesting someone actually goes to try to blow parliament up.What is celebrated is the capture of Guy Fawkes rather than the act
Far more sinister tones on the various social medias stating poll tax riots will be nothing compared to Brexit being overturned.
i went on poll tax marches and they were horrendous.
The poll tax was genuinely detrimental to people though. Delays to Brexit are not and avoiding a no deal Brexit certainly not.

Possibly as austerity is a more widespread global issueI'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been more protestation in respect to austerity.
I guess that shows how capable our media has been in distracting from it.
