No one is giving a free pass, but given the difference in hostilities could you blame them? You’d have David Johnson up in Joys face with a wasps flag and a banner shouting “sell our club, sisu out a Jimmy hill way” rather than the back slapping applauding morons at Wasps and The council

You’re assuming how Dave would have behaved assuming someone would have actually invited him up for a chat in the first place. You’re giving them a free pass with assumed predictions of behaviour and using your fantasy to justify our owners ignoring our fan base.

Don't know anyone but going forward what's the plan
Ok if you'll insist on playing games, you get me a face to face meeting with Duggins or Eastwood and I'll happily sit down with them shake their hand (without applause) and explain to them what needs to happen. We have too many people with influential positions that are not prepared to have tough conversations with anyone other than Joy & Tim who won't give them an audience.

Read the various other threads about the same thing.

Out of interest, have you backed the Trust's plan today?

You can’t even applaud them for the effort they’ve put in today. Yet you give SISU a free pass on making sure no one was there to see anyone from the trust, would it really have hurt them to invite Moz and CJ up if only for a quick chat?
Absolutely fair play to any fan who turned up toady expecting to protest all sides.

Why would I applaud the trust? The flaws in this protest were pointed out to them, ie nobody from SISU would pay any attention making it a wasted trip, and the oft-repeated question regarding pressuring all sides was raised. The events of today are exactly as predicted so what should I be applauding, what has been achieved?

Knowing SISU would ignore any protest is not giving them a free pass, its looking at what's happened with similar protests before and not being surprised when the same thing happens again.

I'm on about where I offered you a serious and genuine response about a meeting with Wasps and the Council.

Did you ask Duggins why he didn’t attend the Westminster meeting? If I was Sisu I wouldn’t turn up either. They know full well they’d get abuse etc.

That was Moz’s first question. He said they sent the best person for the job which was their Head of Legals. It was said to him after that either he or his deputy should’ve gone too. I’m not quite sure what they had to gain by not doing that. At best it’s a huge PR own goal.

It worries me that everything seems to go way over your head when it comes to all of that.

What was said after somebody said him or his deputy should have gone?

So you keep saying, although you have no interest when people give you replies.

As I pointed out, it's a bit obvious and desperate ;)

And this is why the 'do something yourself' response is ridiculous. The trust are supposed to represent fans and have a status that opens doors and gets media coverage. Does anyone really think it 4 or 5 of us off here went up to the council house or the Ricoh we'd have Duggins or anyone from Wasps there to greet us or the Telegraph and BBC Midlands following us around?

Everyone was more than welcome to join us at the Council House this morning. I know not everyone can make it due to work but it disappointed me that so few were there considering it was before most people that work within the City Centre clock in. I was expecting that to be the best attended of the 4.

What was his response? “Oh well fair enough - good answer”

This is where communication, transparency and engagement comes into it....

I am normal fan like you I don't any one from wasps council Sisu trust , I see Passion on both side of a who's right /wrong argument when the truth is there is no right and wrong from the supporters point of view we are all in the middle ,on this site we should be arguing about football not councils and hedge funds but we are where we are but the trust can be challenged by any one so if you don't like them change them ,likewise the council ,however Sisu you cannot ,that's why in my ipionoo today's protest was completely jusitfed

Nobody said the protest isn’t justified, it’s the lack of pressure of parties that can make a difference which is frustrating. By all means go crazy at SISU offices, we want new owners.

But make Wasps feel uncomfortable, let them know that without Coventry City we have a fan base that can impact them. The council should be made to sweat- they engineered this whole saga right from the very beginning
