Just been reading through this for the first time, and here's my tuppence-worth.
Definately (Oh, my God, I'm H) need to sign a dependable, experienced keeper; but some of the names being mentioned (Westwood/Stockdale) would, I think be asking for more than we could pay. On that point, I recently saw a programme about sports players in the US, and many of them file for bankruptcy within a few years of finishing playing, despite being on massive wages. Also, when earning thousands a week, remember that a large proportion of that goes to the taxman, so being a league 1/2 footballer isn't a "set for life" occupation.
Picking up on JJ coming back from injury, I seem to remember when Callum Wilson did his shoulder in for the second time, there were plenty of people saying it was made of glass and he'd never be the same player again - now it appears that his possible summer move would be a huge financial bonus for us.
I also think that we are an attractive proposition for loan signings from the Championship, due to the style of football we play, and that Mark Robins will get a couple of useful players in that way.
Finally, I suggested on another thread that I thought Tom Eaves was someone we should take a look at - he impressed me when he came up here with Gillingham, and, in my opinion, looks more suited to the lone striker role than Bakayoko.
