Not going to be able to make it. Not going to give it the good luck stuff as it's a bit more than that, but do feel it's a first step to a bit of fan unity which is important.

Fair play nw for taking it on and doing something and everybody else for going regardless of views. If it can get a few people together who have bickered a lot then it's a start and can go from there with it.

Am genuinely gutted I can't make it, even if it was just for a beer.

TBF, BHSB suggested it, I just started a thread!

Nobody's taken it on as such, this is collective action ;) Which is why, if it gets *any* sort of numbers, it'll be an indicator of what could be if done properly...

I think any placards should read along the lines of '1883-2019 , let this not be the end ' or ' ' 136 years of the Sky Blues in Coventry' or ' Forget ownership, this stadium was built for CCFC'

You'll never make them see sense anyway.

Now you know how I feel when I'm arguing with you over politics.

Yes it’s like me arguing with Steve from Cov - you being Steve of course

Why don't the attendees all go in the Casino after, watch the FA Cup final (hopefully that will affect The Wasps attendance) and drop a Jackpot or two so we can buy the club. Apologies that I can't be there - off to Newcastle (will mutter something towards Sunderland as I pass it)

Not that it counts for much but my opinion of a few people has changed the last couple of days!

I’ll be doing what I do every FA Cup day. Putting on the DVD of the greatest FA Cup final ever.

Broke news to the kids this morning - they immediately launched a counter protest. A little plea bargaining from me means we will be doing some shopping/browsing before we march to the statue.

Hoping for an effective and noisy protest from all who love the Sky Blues today. I really wish I could be there to add my mardy tones to the occassion but it's been pointed out I will not make it back for the wife's birthday bash this evening.

Even after faithfully promising to break all speed limits to get back on time she just glared at me and threatened me with my username for a long, long time to come. (She can be a tad feisty at times but I see no reason for that kind of behaviour.):emoji_rage:

Good luck to all who attend.

Personal circumstances dictate that I am unable to get there.

What you are all doing is a good thing and the first step towards a united front.

That stadium was built for the football team we have all always loved.

Regardless of divided opinions, the common goal should be to ensure that we continue to play there.

It counts if it’s positive

What is the world coming to. Teenage boys walking around with wings on their backs on Alice bands with springs on them. That sort of thing would have got you beat up when I was a teenager.

Well I'm here! Not wearing the scarf I've just been ripped off for until I spot others though. Very strange feeling atm, I feel an outsider in my own home.

Vision of the future!

If you two foot one of them on camera I'll take back everything I've ever thought.

Just got here. Getting a drink in Tesco’s then I’ll walk up. I’ll be the one with a red checked shirt, glasses and a CCFC flagged draped over me. See you in a bit. Oh. And my name is Tony if anyone wants to say hello ;)
